How can I tell if a square is Live?

Look for the red dot indicating a game is in progress.

What do the numbers on the square mean?
  • The larger number is the player's full-game projection. You are picking More or Less on this number.
  • The smaller number is the player's live progress in the game for the target stat type.
If I choose a Live Square, does the rest of my Lineup also need to include Live Squares?

Nope! You can mix and match Live Squares with other projections, including pre-game or partial-game squares.

The square I want to use says "Paused." What does that mean?

We may decide to pause projections due to various outcomes in the game. When this happens, you can either remove the paused square from your Lineup, or wait for it to unpause.

What's with the "Auto-accept projection changes" option?

Because Live projections are based on real-time game data, they are subject to change between the time you add them to your Lineup and when you hit submit. By default, PrizePicks will notify you in the app and give you the option to manually accept these changes. If you'd rather automatically accept all changes, turn this setting ON.

What sports have Live Squares?

Live Squares are currently only available for NBA and NFL. Keep an eye out for other sports soon!

Can I pick Live Squares throughout the whole game?

Almost, but not quite. Live Squares will be available until 6 minutes are left in the game.

Can I cancel or modify my Lineup after submitting it with a Live Square?

Because cancellations are not allowed once a game has started, you will not be able to cancel, self-refund, or edit a Lineup that includes Live Squares after you submit.

Do Live Squares offer different payouts compared to pre-game projections?

The standard payout structure remains the same whether you use Live, pre-game, or partial-game projections. Your potential winnings are still based on the difficulty, combination and total number of picks.

How does PrizePicks calculate Live projections?

Live projections take into account current game data, such as an athlete’s performance, game flow, and other live factors. Our team uses this information to adjust projections dynamically as the game unfolds.

Are Live Squares eligible for Reboots?

Yes! For Reboots, the same rules apply to Live Squares as they do to pre-game, full-game projections. Learn more about Reboots here.

Can I filter out Pregame/Live projections on the Board?

Absolutely, yes! Within leagues that have Live Squares, look for the calendar icon (which can be used as a Game Filter for the league you are browsing), and tap "Select All" Live games to only see Live projections or "Select All" Upcoming games to only see Pregame projections.
