A six-game slate kicks off the week in the NBA on Monday. Below, in the NBA DFS Cheat Sheet for PrizePicks, we’ll cover all of the NBA Monday games to give you the best picks and matchups for NBA DFS today.
While there are no standout games, there will still be some great fantasy matchups to target today. The Timberwolves take on the Wizards, and Washington is the worst defense in terms of fantasy points allowed. The Grizzlies and Raptors are also in action, two other teams who are in the top-10 of fantasy points allowed.

This is the first meeting between these two teams this season, and while Minnesota has underperformed this year, it will enjoy this matchup. As mentioned earlier, Washington is allowing the most fantasy points to their opposition this year. At all positions but small forward, the Wizards are at least top three in terms of fantasy points allowed.
Minnesota star guard Anthony Edwards has cooled off after three-straight 30-point games, but has produced big-time in his last three games against Washington. This could be the get-right game for Edwards after a combined 9-of-32 in his last two games.

Grizzlies vs. Rockets: How To Watch, Preview

How to Watch: NBA TV
This is the third meeting between the Grizzlies and Rockets and second one in the last week. Despite the Rockets being one of the best defensive teams in the league, there have been a lot of points in these games still, with teams combining for 230-plus points in both meetings.
Memphis leads the league in pace, while Houston is in the middle of the pack, so the Rockets will up their tempo to try and maximize their possessions against the Grizzlies.
The stars of each team — Ja Morant and Alperen Sengun — both performed well in these games. Morant is averaging over 25 points per game against Houston while the Rockets center had two double-doubles.
Memphis has struggled against wing players and the power forward position this year, ranking in the top-10 of fantasy points allowed to all three positions. That bodes well for the likes of Jalen Green and former Grizzlies guard Dillion Brooks.

Below, you’ll find the top NBA DFS picks today for PrizePicks for Monday, January 13.
Timberwolves C Rudy Gobert vs. Wizards: 11.5 Rebounds — More
One of the worst shooting teams, the Wizards, are coming off of the first leg of a back-to-back in which they shot 34 percent from the field and get another tough matchup against Minnesota, which is allowing opponents to shoot an average of 45 percent from the field.
This bodes well for Timberwolves C Rudy Gobert, who should clean up on the glass against them, with Washington allowing the fourth-most rebounds to opposing centers over this season and the last seven games.
Gobert is averaging only just under 11 rebounds this year but averages 19 potential rebounds per game. His history against Washington while on the Minnesota is excellent too, grabbing 16+ rebounds in 3-of-4 meetings. With how poorly Washington shoots, this projection could hit in either a blowout — due to the sheer number of missed shots — or in a close game due to more minutes and rebound opportunities.
Rockets C Alperen Sengun vs. Wizards: 10.5 Rebounds — More
Sengun and the Rockets meet the Grizzlies for the third time this season, and this is a matchup he has enjoyed on the glass. He has dominated the glass against Memphis with 14.5 rebounds per game in their two meetings and averaging 22.5 potential rebounds.
In both games, Sengun was matched up against rookie Zach Edey, who has a significant height advantage on him. However, Edey did not play regular starter minutes in either game due to foul trouble or due to Houston’s versatile lineup.
Depending on who is on the floor when Edey sits, Sengun usually gets matched up with Brandon Clarke, but sometimes can also see Jaren Jackson Jr. or Santi Aldama, whom he matches up well against.

Raptors C Jakob Poeltl vs. Warriors: 10.5 Rebounds — More
Bigs have feasted on the glass against the Warriors this season and tonight should be no different. Raptors center Jakob Poeltl will get a big size advantage, going up against Warriors C Trayce Jackson-Davis. The usual elite rebounding centers, such as Domantas Sabonis, Gobert, Zubac, and Nikola Jokic, all produced double-digit rebounds against Golden State.
Even players in limited minutes such as Lakers’ Christian Koloko, was able to grab 6 rebounds in 9 minutes on the floor. The Warriors are giving up the seventh-most rebounds to opposing centers this year.
While the numbers don’t look the best with both RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes healthy, Poeltl has hit this projection against teams who allow tons of rebounds to opposing centers, so he’s been reliable in taking advantage of plus matchups.
Clippers C Ivica Zubac vs. Heat: 12.5 Rebounds — More
Another center with a matchup that he should take advantage of: Ivica Zubac and the Clippers take on the Miami Heat. Miami is allowing the third-most rebounds to opposing centers and the fourth-most rebounds overall this season.
Bigs have dominated the glass against Miami with Sabonis, Walker Kessler, Kyle Flipowski, and Donovan Clingan all tallying double-digit rebounds against Miami to start the new year. Outside of those players, the usual elite rebounding centers like Hartenstein, Gobert, KAT, and Jokic have all cleaned up against them as well.
Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard is expected to play tonight, but even his return hasn’t disrupted Zubac’s rebounding numbers, tallying 18 and 16 rebounds respectively against much tougher matchups in Atlanta and Minnesota.
