Jets vs Browns: Hall of Fame Game Overview
The Hall of Fame Game is scheduled to take place at the NFL Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, and fans are eagerly anticipating the clash between the Jets and Browns.
While it's only a preseason game, both teams will be looking to make a statement and set the tone for the rest of the preseason.
Quarterback Rotations and Starter Involvement
One of the key aspects to consider when choosing fantasy rosters on preseason games is the quarterback rotations and the involvement of the starters. In the Hall of Fame Game, it's expected that the starters will play sparingly, if at all.
This means that fans will get a chance to see the younger players and backups in action, which can make for an exciting and unpredictable game. Thankfully, we have all of the top DFS projections live on the board so you don’t miss any of the excitement.
For the Jets, quarterback Zach Wilson will likely get some playing time. This will be an opportunity for Wilson to showcase his skills and demonstrate how he's progressed as he enters his third year and prepares to back up Aaron Rodgers throughout the season.
On the Browns' side, the focus will be on their backup quarterbacks, as Deshaun Watson and Joshua Dobbs are expected to sit out. Kellen Mond and Dorian Thompson-Robinson will have the chance to make a case for their positions on the depth chart.
Impactful Players to Watch
While the starters may not see much action, there are several players to keep an eye on during the Hall of Fame Game. For the Jets, running back Michael Carter will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing sophomore season. Carter showed promise as a rookie, and this preseason will be an opportunity for him to regain his form.
On the Browns' side, defensive end Jeremiah Martin and defensive tackle Siaki Ika are two players to watch. Martin, an undrafted free agent, had an impressive college career and will be looking to make an impact in the NFL. Ika, a third-round pick, is known for his ability to stuff the run and could play a crucial role in the Browns' defense.
Jets vs. Browns Hot Daily Fantasy Sports Projections
Passing Yards
Although DeShaun Watson and future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers are extremely unlikely to play in this preseason opener, there still could be some aerial action this evening as some of the backups will look to make an impact while they have a chance.
Kellen Mond is currently projected at 100.5 passing yards for Thursday’s contest. Though he lacks experience, Coach Kevin Stefanski announced he’ll take the lead and start for the Browns. He’ll have fresh receivers and will surely be eager to make a name for himself early and secure a spot on the roster.

Rushing Yards
John Kelly is likely to take the majority of the snaps in the backfield of the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.
He’s bounced on and off the Browns roster a few times over several seasons after a brief stint with the Rams. Although he’ll be splitting carries with a few other running backs, Kelly will definitely have a chance to make an impact on the game early.

Receiving Yards
While we’re all upset we likely won’t see Aaron Rodgers debut for the Jets until the final preseason game (if not their regular season debut), the Jets receiving core will still have an experienced NFL arm throwing to them as Zach Wilson hopes to show Coach Saleh that he still has what it takes to shine at a high level.
Alex Erickson is projected to have just over 26 receiving yards on Thursday night and with a hungry Wilson, he just might do it.
