About Our Payout Structures
All payouts offered to winning participants are pre-established by PrizePicks and are disclosed to you on your individual details screen before you submit your picks and before any entry fee is charged. The value of your payout in any contest is never determined by the number of participants in that contest or by the amount of fees paid by any participant.
Payout amounts and structures may vary between lineup submissions. This includes lineups that appear similar in format by involving the same sport, sporting event, or player pool. Instead, payouts are based solely on pre-established factors that are disclosed to you when you submit.
These factors may include the type of picks you choose (Player Picks, Team Picks, Culture Picks), type of lineup you build (Power Play, Flex Play, combined lineup with Player + Team Picks), user-selected options, prize multiplier tier, pick count, promotional offers, and other criteria established by PrizePicks before your picks are finalized. It is your responsibility to review the payout structure on your individual details screen before submitting. By submitting your picks, you confirm you have reviewed and accepted the payout for that specific contest. If you do not agree with the prizes or prize criteria, your sole recourse is to refrain from entering.

• 4-Pick Win = 10x the entry fee

• 2-Pick Win= 3x the entry fee
Flex Play: Lineups can still win even if one or two picks are incorrect
• 6 of 6 correct = 25x the entry fee
• 5 of 6 correct = 2X the entry fee
• 4 of 6 correct = 0.4X the entry fee
• 5 of 5 correct = 10x the entry fee
• 4 of 5 correct = 2x the entry fee
• 3 of 5 correct = 0.4x the entry fee
• 4 of 4 correct = 6x the entry fee

Payouts for Lineups Combining Player and Team Picks
NEW This transaction type is new. Payout structures for this type of transaction are disclosed on your details screen before you submit your picks.
Lineups may contain both Player Picks (Daily Fantasy Sports contests) and Team Picks (event contracts) using a single entry fee. The two components are legally independent transactions, each governed by its own rules, prize structures, and applicable laws. You authorize PrizePicks in advance to use the proceeds from any winning event contract to fund the entry fee for the associated DFS contest.
How the Entry Fee Is Allocated
When you submit a lineup that includes both Team and Player Picks, PrizePicks receives your single entry fee and allocates it between the Player Pick lineup component, the event contract component, and any applicable administrative fees with a total projected payout shown on your details screen at the time of submission. The allocation of your proceeds between the two transactions is pre-established in order to achieve the total, combined projected payout and is disclosed before you confirm your submission. PrizePicks reserves the right to adjust fee allocations between components from time to time, including as required to comply with applicable law in your jurisdiction. The allocation applicable to your picks is always the one displayed on your details screen at the time of submission.
How DNPs and Reboots affect Lineup payouts
Only active players count toward a winning lineup. Lineups with a player marked DNP or Reboot are still eligible to win, although the multiplier will be reduced. This is referred to as a “reverted lineup.” For example, if you select a 3-pick power play and one of your selections is marked DNP, your lineup will revert to a 2-pick power play.
A full breakdown of reverted lineups is included below:
• 6-Pick Power → 5-Pick Power
• 5-Pick Power → 4-Pick Power
• 4-Pick Power → 3-Pick Power
• 3-Pick Power → 2-Pick Power
• 2-Pick Power → Refund
• 6-Pick Flex → 5-Pick Flex
• 5-Pick Flex → 4-Pick Flex
• 4-Pick Flex → 3-Pick Flex
• 3-Pick Flex → 2-Pick Power
If DNPs or Reboots make it so that all remaining players in a lineup are on the same team, this will make the lineup ineligible. In this case, you will be issued an automatic refund.
What happens if an athlete ties their projection?
If an athlete ends the game with the exact number in their PrizePicks projection (down to decimal, if applicable), this is considered a tie. Ties will cause your payout to revert down by one level, but they will not be removed from your lineup completely in the way that DNPs and Reboots are. This means that a tied projection will not cause your lineup to become ineligible due to the 2-pick minimum or same-team policies.
Here’s how lineup payouts are reverted in case of a tie:
• 6-Pick Power → 5-Pick Power
• 5-Pick Power → 4-Pick Power
• 4-Pick Power → 3-Pick Power
• 3-Pick Power → 2-Pick Power
• 2-Pick Power with 1 correct pick and 1 tie → 1.5X Payout
• 2-Pick Power with 1 losing pick and 1 tie → Loss
• 6-Pick Flex → 5-Pick Flex
• 5-Pick Flex → 4-Pick Flex
• 4-Pick Flex → 3-Pick Flex
• 3-Pick Flex → 2-Pick Power
Why did I receive a payout that's different from the standard rate?
Payout rates for any contest you enter are displayed on your individual details screen before you submit your picks and before any entry fee is charged. Payout structures are pre-established by PrizePicks and are never determined by the number of participants in a contest or the amount of fees paid by any participant.
Payouts may differ between contests — including contests that cover the same sport, sporting event, or player pool and that may appear similar in format — based solely on pre-established factors disclosed at the time of entry.
These factors may include:
- Lineup Type: This includes Power Play, Flex Play, or Team Pick + Player Pick lineups. If your lineup includes a Team Pick, your payout will be recalculated to reflect the combined value of your Team Pick plus your Player Picks.
- Promotional Offers: including special format contests or limited-availability picks.
- League-Specific Rules: Certain sports may have certain scenarios that can affect the payout rate.
- Specific Pick Combinations: Lineups with multiple athletes playing in the same game may have reduced payout rates.
- Special Projections: Lineups including Demon or Goblin projections or other discounted projections carry altered standard payout rates.
- Fee Allocation: Certain pick submissions may include fees. The portion of your fee allocated to each component determines the base from which each component's multiplier or settlement value is calculated.
- Other Pre-established Factors: As determined by PrizePicks before your picks are finalized.
Team and Culture Pick Payouts
Team and Culture Picks are event contracts. All payouts for Team and Culture Picks are pre-established and disclosed on your details screen before submission. If you select a correct outcome, your full payout is transferred automatically to your PrizePicks account once the event reaches its closing time and results are finalized. You can view the scheduled closing time and payout timing on your details screen.
Team and Culture Pick payouts may vary between contracts and contests based on pre-established factors including the specific event, contract type, settlement structure, and other criteria established before entries open. The proceeds applicable to your entry is always the one shown on your entry screen at the time of submission.
When a Team or Culture Pick is added to a lineup that also contains Player Picks, it is settled independently of the Player Pick Lineup component using the same rules described above, applied to the portion of the entry fee allocated to the event contract component.
If you exit out of your Team or Culture Pick before the closing time for the event, your payout will be calculated according to the current value of the individual contracts, minus service fees. In this case, you will not be offered a payout that is higher than what you would receive if the pick was correct.
Note: Contracts for Team and Culture Picks regularly go up and down in value, which will be reflected in the price you receive for your payout. If the price of your contracts go down significantly while you are in the process of submitting a sale order, you will be notified of the change, and you can choose whether or not you still want to proceed. This setting can be disabled via user settings.

• 2 of 4 correct ≈ 2.75X the entry fee
• 2 of 5 correct ≈ 2.8X the entry fee

• 4 of 6 correct ≈ 10.25x the entry fee
• 5 of 6 correct ≈ 19.6x the entry fee

Team and Culture Pick Payouts

The proceeds applicable to your entry is always the one shown on your entry screen at the time of submission.
When a Team or Culture Pick is added to a lineup that also contains Player Picks, it is settled independently of the Player Pick Lineup component using the same rules described above, applied to the portion of the entry fee allocated to the event contract component.
