NBA DFS Injury Report Today
Below, find all of the NBA DFS Injury news for the NBA Wednesday games.
Notable Players Out
- Mavericks G Kyrie Irving will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. Mavericks G Jaden Hardy (ankle) is also expected to miss multiple games. Mavericks guards Max Christie and Spencer Dinwiddie should both see an increase in minutes and shot attempts.
- Grizzlies F Jaren Jackson Jr. is listed as week-to-week after suffering a Grade 2 ankle sprain. Grizzlies F Santi Aldama (calf) is the most likely replacement for him in the starting lineup, but he is listed as questionable to face the Thunder. Grizzlies G Ja Morant (shoulder) is also listed as questionable, further complicating matters for the team.
- Clippers F Kawhi Leonard will sit out for rest Wednesday against the Pistons. Clippers F Norman Powell (hamstring) is also out, meaning F Amir Coffey and G/F Bordan Bogdanovic are primed to play more and receive additional shot attempts.
- Heat F Andrew Wiggins (ankle) and F Kel’el Ware (knee) have both been ruled out against the Cavaliers. Wiggins has missed three straight games for the Heat. During that span, Heat G/F Duncan Robinson is averaging 15.7 points and 3.0 three-pointers.
- Wizards G Jordan Poole (elbow) and G Malcolm Brogdon (elbow) will not play against the Jazz. Wizards F Kyshawn George (jaw) is also listed as questionable. Wizards G Bub Carrington has started and logged at least 32 minutes in both of the last two games that Poole has missed.
- The Jazz have ruled out F Lauri Markkanen (back), F John Collins (back), Walker Kessler (rest), Jordan Clarkson (foot), and Collin Sexton (ankle) against the Wizards. That should result in added minutes and shot attempts for Filipowski, G Isaiah Collier, and G Keyonte George.
Questionable or Game-Time Decisions
- Nuggets C Nikola Jokic (ankle), F Aaron Gordon (ankle), and F/C Zeke Nnaji (ankle) are listed as questionable against the Kings. Jokic has only missed six games all season.
- Celtics PF Jayson Tatum (shoulder) and SF Jaylen Brown (illness) are listed as questionable against the Trail Blazers, while Celtics F/C Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Celtics G Jrue Holiday (finger) are listed as doubtful. With the Celtics set to potentially be extremely short handed, G Payton Pritchard, F Sam Hauser, and F/C Al Horford could all take on expanded roles — keep an eye on the starting lineup.
- Kings G Malik Monk (toe) is listed as questionable against the Nuggets. If he can’t play, G Markelle Fultz and G Keon Ellis would be in line for added minutes.
