NBA DFS Injury Report Today
Below, find all of the NBA DFS Injury news for the NBA Monday games.
Notable Players Out
- Lakers F LeBron James (groin) is out against the Nets. To complicate matters for the Lakers, G Luka Doncic (back) is listed as questionable. Reaves should play a lot and receive additional shot attempts, even if Doncic is cleared to play. If Doncic is out, Gabe Vincent should also have a prominent role tonight.
- Knicks G Jalen Brunson (ankle) is out for at least two weeks. In the first game that he missed Friday against the Clippers, Knicks G Miles McBride started and produced seven points on 2-of-13 shooting and six assists over 34 minutes. The Knicks only mustered 95 points, with C Karl-Anthony Towns leading with 23.
- Rockets G/F Amen Thompson (ankle) has been ruled out for 10 to 14 days. The Rockets could get some reinforcements, though, with G Fred VanVleet (ankle) listed as questionable after missing 15 of the last 16 games.
- Nets F Cam Thomas (hamstring) is out against the Lakers. Nets G Keon Johnson and Nets G Tyrese Martin could receive additional playing time.
- Spurs PF Jeremy Sochan (calf) is questionable to play tonight. Spurs F Keldon Johnson should play additional minutes in his place, but won’t be in the starting lineup.
- 76ers G Tyrese Maxey (back) is out against the Hawks after missing three straight games. The 76ers have already ruled out F Paul George (groin), so G Quentin Grimes and G/F Kelly Oubre Jr. could see plenty of minutes and shot attempts if Maxey is out again. Without Maxey, George, C Joel Embiid, and G Jared McCain, Grimes leads the team in usage at 26.6%, with Oubre at 25.8%.
- Jazz Gs Jordan Clarkson (foot) and Keyonte George (foot) are both out on Monday. Isaiah Collier and Collin Sexton should play most of the minutes in the backcourt for the Jazz tonight.
- Lakers F LeBron James, C Jaxson Hayes, F Dorian Finney-Smith, and PF Rui Hachiumura are all out tonight. The Lakers are incredibly thin in the front court now, with Jarred Vanderbilt expected to draw the start at center.
Questionable or Game-Time Decisions
- Hawks G Trae Young (quadriceps) is questionable to face the 76ers. If he sits, Hawks G/F Caris LeVert could move into the starting lineup. LeVert also got a late questionable tag. If both can’t go, look for Terrance Mann to fill in.
- Celtics F/C Kristaps Porzingis (illness) is listed as doubtful, while Celtics F Jayson Tatum (knee) and Celtics F/C Al Horford (toe) are listed as questionable against the Jazz. F Sam Hauser and C Luke Kornet could see additional playing time up front.
- Pacers G Tyrese Haliburton (hip) is questionable to face the Bulls. With Haliburton out the last two games, Pacers G Andrew Nembhard averaged 13.0 points and 11.0 assists.
- Spurs SF Stephon Castle is questionable tonight vs. the Mavericks.
- Jazz PFs Lauri Markkanen (back) and John Collins (back) are questionable to play tonight, which are both must-needed for the Jazz. G Collin Sexton (ankle) is also off the injury report and will play.
