Notable Players Out
- Thunder G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will sit tonight’s game vs. Portland as a rest day. Without Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams’ usage jumps up to 32.6%, compared to 26.9% with him.
- Raptors G Brandon Ingram (ankle) has yet to make his debut for Toronto and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Raptors G Gradey Dick (knee) will miss at least two weeks as well. The Raptors will continue to rely on the trie of R.J. Barrett, Scottie Barnes, and Immanuel Quickley to carry the offensive load.
- Grizzlies F Jaren Jackson Jr. is listed as week-to-week after suffering a Grade 2 ankle sprain. In the first game without Jackson, Ja Morant scored 24 points, while PF Brandon Clarke led the bench playing 27 minutes, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds.
- Trail Blazers C Robert Williams will sit this game and it severely hurts Portland’s depth at center with C Deandre Ayton also out. The Blazers will likely start Donovan Clingan at center.
- Clippers G Norman Powell is the team’s leading scorer and will miss at least a week with a hamstring strain. James Harden scored 50 points in his absence in the last game, though Kawhi Leonard was also out and will return in this game.
Questionable or Game-Time Decisions
- Nuggets C Nikola Jokic is questionable as he deals with an ankle issue. F Aaron Gordon also has an ankle injury and is a game-time decision.
- Suns G Bradley Beal (calf) hasn’t missed a game with this injury, and has been upgraded to probable today.
- Kings F Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) suffered a grade one hamstring strain and will be out till next week.
- Jazz C Will Kessler (rest), G Collin Sexton (ankle), and G Keyonte George (illness) are listed as questionable against the Kings. Grizzlies F Santi Aldama (calf) missed the last game against the Thunder.
- Mavericks G P.J. Washington (ankle) missed the last game against the Bucks and is game-time decision against the Grizzlies.
- Timberwolves C Rudy Gobert (back) missed the last game against Charlotte and if he misses the game again, Naz Reid would get more playing time again.
- Heat G Tyler Herro (illness) missed the last game and is a game-time decision. SF Andrew Wiggins has been dealing with an ankle issue and is questionable for this game.
- Knicks G Jalen Brunson (ankle) is questionable for the matchup against the Clippers after playing 41 minutes in the overtime loss against the Lakers.
