Monday NBA Games to Target for NBA DFS
Here are two games to target for NBA DFS fantasy production today, Monday, February 3.
Hawks vs. Pistons
Time: 7 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
The Hawks will play the remainder of the season without one of their best defenders in F Jalen Johnson (shoulder). Further tilting the scales in the Pistons’ favor to score in bunches is that the Hawks have played at the second-fastest pace (104.13) in the league. Johnson was also an excellent scoring option, so his absence will make it difficult for the Hawks to improve on their 110.3 offensive rating, which is the seventh-worst mark in the league.
Johnson isn’t the only member of the Hawks who will miss this game. Hawks C Clint Capela (back) and Hawks G Bogdan Bogdanovic (personal) have also been ruled out. The Pistons have a mostly clean injury report, but monitor for updates throughout the day as this will be the second game of a back-to-back set for them.
PrizePicks Projection to Consider: Hawks SF De’Andre Hunter 18.5 Points — More
Pelicans vs. Nuggets
Time: 9 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
Scoring might not be difficult to come by in this game. The Nuggets have played at the fifth-fastest pace (101.2) in the league and rank 20th in defensive rating (114.0). The Pelicans enter this matchup with the third-worst defensive rating (117.8) and are top half of the league in pace (99.8).
The Pelicans will now be without G Dejounte Murray (Achilles) for the rest of the season. Pelicans G Jordan Hawkins (illness) is questionable for this game, so his potential absence could leave them especially thin at guard. The Nuggets have already ruled out G Russell Westbrook (hamstring) and F Peyton Watson (knee).
PrizePicks Projection to Consider: Nuggets G Jamal Murray 21.5 Points — More

NBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks
Here are four NBA DFS picks to help you build your PrizePicks NBA Lineups for today, Monday, February 3.
Pelicans PF Zion Williamson vs. Nuggets: 23.5 Points — More
After sitting out Friday with an illness, Pelicans PF Zion Williamson has been cleared to play Monday. While he has only appeared in 13 games this season, he is averaging 23.6 points and shooting 52.0% from the field. He enters this matchup having scored at least 24 points in four straight games.
As good as Nuggets C Nikola Jokic is, he is not a good defensive presence in the paint. Williamson loves to attack the rim, so with little resistance likely coming his way, expect him to score in bunches.
Pelicans G CJ McCollum vs. Nuggets: 24.5 Pts+Asts — More
The Murray injury puts Pelicans G CJ McCollum in a more prominent role. McCollum is already averaging 21.9 points and 3.8 assists per game for the season. One of the reasons why the Nuggets have struggled so much on defense is that they have allowed the most assists per game (29.8) in the league. As long as the Pelicans can keep this game fairly close, McCollum could produce a stat line well above this projection.
Blazers C Deandre Ayton vs. Suns: 16.5 Points — More
The Suns are thin at center, even after they acquired C Nick Richards from the Hornets. When the Trail Blazers and Suns met Saturday, Trail Blazers C Deandre Ayton scored 24 points over 33 minutes. That marked the fourth straight game in which he logged at least 33 minutes and scored at least 21 points.
Trail Blazers C Robert Williams III (hand) is questionable, and this is the first game of a back-to-back set for the Trail Blazers, so he could be out again. That would further help Ayton’s case for surpassing this projection.
Hawks F Zaccharie Risacher vs. Pistons: 11.5 Points — More
With all of the injuries around him, Hawks G Zaccharie Risacher has a clear path to an expanded role. He logged 25 minutes against the Cavaliers on Thursday and scored 30 points on 11-for-14 shooting from the field. He followed that up with 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field Saturday against the Pacers. There is the potential for him to blow past this projection in this favorable matchup.
