NBA DFS Cheat Sheet Today: Picks & Predictions for NBA Tuesday 1/28
The NBA DFS Cheat Sheet is back for NBA Tuesday to break down the top NBA DFS picks on PrizePicks for January 28, and highlight the top games to target tonight for your PrizePicks Lineups.
Another small Tuesday night slate is in the cards with just four games and two nationally televised games. The Lakers continue their road trip in Philadelphia taking on the 76ers on TNT at 7:30 p.m. ET. That game will be followed by the Milwaukee Bucks on a back-to-back in Portland to face the Blazers at 10 p.m..
Both the Rockets and Hawks are coming off of the first leg of a back-to-back. Houston is coming off of an exciting game against the Celtics while the Hawks remain at home after facing the Timberwolves. The other late game on the slate is between the tanking Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors.

Tuesday NBA Games to Target for NBA DFS
Here are the top two games to target on the Tuesday NBA DFS slate for production and fantasy upside on PrizePicks.
Rockets vs. Hawks: Preview, Picks
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
Both the Rockets and Hawks are coming off of back-to-backs in this one so even with a little fatigue, this has the chance to be the better game of the two in the early slate. The Atlanta Hawks are near the top of the league in pace and allowing the second-most points per game so far this season. They’re also allowing the fifth-most average fantasy points to their opposition.
They do have a top-10 offense as well, but are missing their emerging star forward in Jalen Johnson. Atlanta however gets point guard Trae Young back in the fold. The Rockets boast a much better defense and a slightly worse offense, but they’ll likely want to go try and run with the Hawks to maximize possessions.
PrizePicks NBA Pick: Rockets G Jalen Green 22.5 Points — More
Bucks vs. Trail Blazers: Preview, Picks
Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: TNT/truTV/Max
Similarly to the Hawks, Portland also has one of the worst defenses in the league. The Trail Blazers rank eighth in points per game allowed and are allowing the sixth-most average fantasy points to their opposition.
The Bucks are just outside the top-10 in points per game and are a top-10 team in pace, led by Giannis who looks to push the pace once they hit the defensive glass.
PrizePicks NBA Pick: Giannis Antetokounmpo 44.5 Pts+Rebs — More
NBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks
Below, you’ll find the top NBA DFS picks today for PrizePicks for Tuesday, January 21.
Lakers C Anthony Davis vs. 76ers: 55 Fantasy Score — More
Anthony Davis had a monster performance last time out against the Sixers, with 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. You can expect another big performance from Davis who is averaging 39 points and 18 rebounds to start the Lakers’ road trip.
With both Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond set to miss tonight’s game, Davis is likely to go up against Guerschon Yaubusele, who is currently probable. Davis will have a huge advantage going up against a smaller Yabusele, who is just 6-foot-8 and not a particularly good defender.
You can check here to see how the scoring for NBA fantasy works. Davis also has a discount on his Pts+Rebs+Asts projection as part of Taco Tuesday — down from 43.5 to 34.5 — until 3:30 p.m. ET.
Rockets F Amen Thompson vs. Hawks: 33 Pts+Rebs+Asts — More
Amen Thompson dropped a career-high 33 points in their road win against the Celtics, and he’ll face a much worse Hawks defense where he could potentially provide an encore to that scoring outburst. This month has seen a jump in Thompson’s usage and minutes with the injury to Jabari Smith Jr.
Thompson is averaging nearly 18 points and 12 rebounds this month and goes up against an Atlanta team who are one of the worst against opposing small forwards this season. The Hawks are allowing the second-most points and rebounds to small forwards and the sixth-most assists. With Johnson out, it will be a big ask for Vit Krejci to try and stop him.

Warriors G Buddy Hield vs. Jazz: 1.5 3-Pointers Made — More (Goblin)
In the last game against the Jazz, Buddy Hield had a masterful performance off the bench which included 27 points and 7 three-pointers made. Hield is now projected to be in the starting lineup which should give him even more minutes than the 20 he received last time as the primary bench option.
This season, the Jazz have been dreadful defensively in general but especially against opposing shooting guards. The Jazz give up the third-most points and the sixth-most three-pointers made to opposing shooting guards. The backcourt duo of Keyonte George and Collin Sexton are below average defenders as well which gives Hield plenty of opportunities to hit this projection
Bucks G Damian Lillard vs. Trail Blazers 26.5 Points — More
The first meeting between the Bucks and Portland, Lillard produced a dreadful shooting performance. He finished with 16 points but only shot 5-of-15 from the field and 2-of-7 from three. While Lillard hasn’t shot particularly well in his three career games against his former team, he has shot a little bit better in Portland than in Milwaukee.
Portland has given up the sixth-most points to opposing point guards this season, and with Lillard riding a hot hand coming back to Portland, scoring at least 25 points in each of his lat six games, he should take advantage of that shaky backcourt defense again.
