Is Travis Hunter the Pick for the Browns?
The Browns will have a choice at No. 2: Should they go with two-way star Travis Hunter or edge rusher Abdul Carter?
The initial mock drafts had the Browns taking Carter, the Penn State edge rusher. But after Hunter’s pro day, it seems they are leaning toward the two-way star. Hunter looks very likely to be the pick for the Browns after the Titans take QB Cam Ward first overall.
Currently, our mock draft has the Browns picking Hunter. This is not a meaningless decision, because what Cleveland does will have a domino effect.
On PrizePicks’ free-to-play Draft game, Travis Hunter’s draft spot projection is 2.5, and you can choose More or Less to win a share of $500,000 in rewards. If you think the Browns draft Hunter, pick Less.

With Hunter off the board, Carter is the consensus pick to go No. 3 to the Giants, although there is a thin chance the Giants could look to QB Shedeur Sanders. There are also some rumors that the Browns could look to trade back up to get Sanders to pair with Hunter.
Will Hunter play Offense or Defense for the Browns?
Reportedly, Hunter ran routes at receiver at his Colorado Pro Day to appease the Browns’ scouts, which seemed to have worked. With that in mind, it’s likely that they will deploy him at wide receiver in 2025. However, Hunter has been adamant about playing both sides of the ball.
NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah reported that Hunter will be "major in offense, minor on defense" for the Browns. Many scouts have agreed that Hunter will play wide receiver first, and corner second, but it's likely he will play both.
