NBA DFS Cheat Sheet Today — Picks, Predictions for NBA Tuesday 3/25
We are in the final few weeks of the 2024-25 NBA regular season, and playoff races are heating up. After an eight-game slate yesterday, we’ve got another eight games in the NBA on Tuesday.
We’ve got everything you need to lock in on the Tuesday NBA slate in today’s NBA DFS Cheat Sheet below, including the PrizePicks NBA picks, top offense vs. defense mismatches, pace up spots, and today’s NBA injury report.
We’ll kick off the national TV slate with Jimmy Butler making his return to MIami for the first-time since his trade to the Golden State Warriors on TNT and Max. The fortunes of each team has been drastically different since the trade. With Butler on the roster, the Warriors are an astounding 16-3 and one of the top teams in the West. The Heat on the other hand are 4-17 since the trade, enduring their worst run in the Erik Spoelstra era.
The TV slate closes with the NBA’s best team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, facing the Sacramento Kings, who are trying to remain in the Play-In Tournament. This will be the second leg of a back-to-back for Sacramento. The Kings were blown out by the defending champion Boston Celtics and sit only a half game up on the Suns and Mavericks.

NBA Pace Report for NBA Tuesday Games
Here are the NBA games to target for quick-paced play with additional possessions on Tuesday for NBA DFS on PrizePicks. In parentheses are the team’s possessions per game.
Spurs vs. Pistons — 7 p.m. ET
Detroit has been running a quick-paced offense all year, ranking fifth (100.0) on the season and fifth over the last 10 games (102.1). The Spurs have been right in the middle of the pack in pace, ranking 13th (99.3) over the season and having the same pace over their last 10 games as well.
This should be a slight pace-up game for the Spurs but could become a pace-neutral game, should Cade Cunningham miss the game.
Hawks vs. Rockets — 8 p.m. ET
All season, the Hawks have been one of the most up-tempo teams in the league. They rank second in pace (102.9) on the season and eighth (101.7) over the season. The Rockets are in the middle of the pack in pace on the season at 98.4 possessions per game, and they have a slight dip over their last 10 games at 97.4. This will be a pace-up game for the Rockets who look to keep up with the electrifying Trae Young and co.
Grizzlies vs. Jazz — 9 p.m. ET
Both of these teams love to run. Over the season, the Grizzlies are first (103.5) and Jazz are sixth (100.0) in pace. Over the last 10 games, those roles are reversed where the Jazz are first (103.6) and the Grizzlies are sixth (102.0). This will be a pace-neutral game but will have one of the highest tempos of the evening.
Cavaliers vs. Trail Blazers — 10 p.m. ET
Despite being top-10 on the season in pace (seventh at 99.9), the Cavaliers are in the middle of the pack over their last 10 games despite playing at a similar pace. The Blazers rank just one spot apart on the season (18th at 98.6) compared to their last 10 games (19th at 98.1). With both teams not too far apart in pace, this should be a pace-neutral game.
NBA DFS Injury Report Today
Below, find all of the NBA DFS Injury news for the NBA Tuesday games.
Notable Players Out
- Grizzlies G Ja Morant (hamstring) will miss his fifth straight game. Luke Kennard will remain the starting point guard.
- Jazz F Lauri Markkanen (illness) and John Collins (ankle) will miss tonight’s game against the Grizzlies. Cody Williams and Kyle Filipowski are expected to join Walker Kessler in the starting lineup.
- Cavaliers G Donovan Mitchell (groin) will miss tonight’s game due to injury management. Max Strus will join Darius Garland as the backcourt starters.
Questionable or Game-Time Decisions
- Spurs G Stephon Castle (knee) is questionable after a newly sustained hyperextended knee injury. If Castle is unable to go, Blake Wesley will slot into the starting lineup.
- Pistons G Cade Cunningham (calf) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) are both questionable. Should they miss the game, Dennis Schroder and Malik Beasley will play larger roles.
- Warriors G Steph Curry (calf) is questionable for tonight’s game against the Heat. Brandin Podziemski will see an uptick in usage and minutes if Steph is ruled out.
- Heat G Duncan Robinson (back) is questionable for the game against the Warriors. Davion Mitchell will likely be the primary beneficiary should Robinson miss tonight’s game.
- Thunder C Chet Holmgren (hip) is listed as questionable for tonight’s game while teammate, F Jalen Williams (hip), is a game-time decision. Aaron Wiggins has been starting for Williams since he picked up his hip injury. Should Holmgren miss tonight’s game, the Thunder are likely to go with a small-ball lineup that would see either Alex Caruso or Cason Wallace join the starting lineup.
