Friday NBA Games to Target for NBA DFS
Here are two games to target for NBA DFS fantasy production today, Thursday, December 19.
Bulls vs. Celtics
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
The Bulls have played at the fastest pace (104.93) in the league, while also sporting the sixth-worst defensive rating (116.2). They will have their hands full against the Celtics, who have the second-best offensive rating (119.9). When these two teams met earlier in the season, the Celtics won 138-129.
As long as it remains close, Celtics should have a productive day for NBA DFS.
The Bulls could be without G Josh Giddey (ankle), who is listed as questionable. Bulls G Zach LaVine will return after sitting out their last game with a back injury. If Giddey is out, Bulls G Coby White would likely be in line for an expanded role.
For the Celtics, C Kristaps Porzingis (heel) and F Sam Hauser (back) are both listed as questionable. Porzingis did practice Wednesday, which helps his chances of playing in this game.
PrizePicks Projection to Consider: Bulls G Ayo Dosunmu 3.5 Rebounds — More
Jazz vs. Pistons
Time: 7 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
The Jazz are 5-20 this season. It has been awful on the defensive end, posting the worst defensive rating (120.7) in the league. That should provide a boost for the Pistons, who have the eighth-worst offensive rating (110.3) in the league.
The Jazz come into this matchup with no injuries of note. Pistons G Jaden Ivey (back) is listed as doubtful, while Pistons F/C Isaiah Stewart (knee) is out. With Stewart going down early in their last game, Pistons C Jalen Duren stepped up to produce nine points and 16 rebounds over 32 minutes. He should receive a significant increase in minutes again if Stewart is out. Pistons F Tobias Harris (thumb) is listed as probable after sitting out in the last game.
PrizePicks Projection to Consider: Pistons C Jalen Duren 10 Rebounds — More

Kings G/F DeMar DeRozan 22 Points — More
Kings G/F DeMar DeRozan has seen his production take a hit since joining the Kings, but he is still averaging 22.5 points per game. Helping his cause is that he has shot 49.3% from the field and 85.6% from the free-throw line.
With regards to this projection, he has scored at least 23 points in five of his last eight games. He also scored 23 points the first time he played the Lakers this season. Since the Lakers have the seventh-worst defensive rating (115.5) in the league, DeRozan could score in bunches again Thursday.
Hawks G/F De’Andre Hunter 18.5 Points – More
Hawks G/F De’Andre Hunter was held to 15 points in his last game against the Bucks. He logged 30 minutes, but shot just 5-for-16 from the field. That snapped his streak of eight straight games with at least 18 points. Hunter scored at least 20 points in seven of those games.
He is shooting 47% from the field on the season, so look for him to have a bounce-back performance against a Spurs team that ranks 19th in defensive rating (113.8).
Celtics G Derrick White 4.5 Rebounds – More
With the Bulls playing at such a fast pace, opposing teams have added opportunities to rack up rebounds and peripherals. Combine that with the Bulls not having a ton of size and they have given up the third-most rebounds per game (46.4).
White is averaging 4.8 rebounds for the season and hauled in six rebounds the last time he faced the Bulls. That began a stretch of White recording at least five rebounds in five of seven games.
Pelicans G Dejounte Murray 7.0 Assists – Less
Injuries have limited Pelicans G Dejounte Murray to just 10 games this season. He has finished with seven or fewer assists in six of those games. This is a horrible matchup against the Rockets, who have the second-best defensive rating (105.3) in the league. That has contributed to them allowing the fewest assists per game (21.7).
