Today’s nationally televised games on TNT are between the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks, followed by the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets. The Magic have been playing excellent basketball without their star Paolo Banchero, winning 12 of their last 13 games. They take on the Knicks, with the winner claiming the top spot in East Group A.
The Warriors have already clinched a spot in the NBA Cup quarterfinals after topping West Group C. The Nuggets however are still in play to potentially be in the quarterfinals with a win and other results going their way.

This matchup puts the highest-scoring offense in the league in Cleveland against the team that allows the second-most points per game in the Wizards. Both of these teams are top-10 in pace, so expect this game to be free-flowing and have lots of shots.
The Wizards are the worst defensive team in terms of allowing fantasy points to opposing players, so this matchup is advantageous for the whole Cavaliers lineup. These two teams met earlier this season and put up a combined 251 points, so expect another high-scoring affair.

Warriors vs. Nuggets: Preview & How to Watch

Location: Ball Arena, Denver, Colo.
The Warriors and Nuggets have both struggled lately. Despite the return of Aaron Gordon to the Denver lineup, the team looked sluggish in their recent loss to the Clippers. Despite still sitting top-4 in the West, the Warriors have lost four straight and look lost as well.
Both Denver and Golden State sit in the top 10 in pace, but there is a glaring difference with their defenses. The Warriors are a top-five defense in points allowed, while the Nuggets sit in the bottom 10, allowing seven more points per game than the Warriors.
This could be a big Nikola Jokic game with his size advantage over the Warriors starting center Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Taking points + assists allows some leeway even on a less efficient scoring night where Garland can look to set-up his teammates.

The Knicks-Magic game should be a slow-paced game with both teams sitting in the bottom 10 in the league in pace. Not only that, but the Knicks are facing the number one defense in terms of points allowed.
Orlando is allowing the least third-least fantasy points to opposing small forwards and has the No. 1 defense in terms of points allowed to small forwards. That defense is led by Franz Wagner and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who can guard either wing position and more.
In what could be a game down to the wire, look for the Knicks to rely on Jalen Brunson or Karl-Anthony Towns to provide a bulk of the offense.

The Warriors allow the third-least total points to opposing centers this season. However, their history against Nikola Jokic has been anything but successful. The MVP frontrunner has put up 30+ points and 13+ rebounds in three of his last four games against the Warriors.
With the Warriors running their common lineup with an undersized center, Jokic should be able to feast in this matchup. Due to their size disadvantage, Golden State allows the most rebounds to opposing centers. The Warriors will either have Trayce Jackson-Davis, Kevon Looney, or Draymond Green guarding the Serb; he towers above them all and should easily dominate in the paint.
