NBA DFS Games to Target Today
Here are two games to target for NBA DFS fantasy production today, Tuesday, November 19.
Cavaliers vs. Celtics: Time, How to Watch, Location
Time: 7 p.m. ET
How to Watch: TNT
Location: TD Garden, Boston, Mass.
This will be the first of four meetings between these two this year after meeting eight times last season. The Celtics won the regular season series 2-1 and defeated the Cavaliers in five games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
With Kristaps Porzingis still recovering from injury, the Celtics will likely use the same starting lineup they used against the Cavaliers in the playoffs last year. Celtics key bench guard Payton Pritchard is also questionable for this game.
Cavs big man Jarrett Allen will be a contributor this time out for Cleveland after missing the whole playoff series last time out due to a right rib contusion.
However, the Cavs are pretty banged up for this game; SF Isaac Okoro (ankle) is questionable, SG Caris LeVert (knee) is questionable, and back-up PF Dean Wade (ankle) is out. Luckily, the Cavs top three scorers in Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and PF Evan Mobley are all in the lineup.
With a short bench, their scoring will be much-needed tonight, but the lack of depth could be problematic for the Cavs tonight if Okoro and LeVert can’t go.
As mentioned earlier, this will be a battle of the East’s two best teams. Despite this game having the two best offensives in terms of points per game and offensive rating, they also rate as two of the better defensive teams in the league as well, ranking seventh and eighth in defensive rating.
PrizePicks Projection To Consider: Derrick White More than 16.5 Points
Hornets vs. Nets: Time, How to Watch, Location
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
Location: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
This Nets and Hornets matchup is between two defenses that are in the bottom half in points per game allowed and allow a high shooting percentage to opponents. The Nets allow their opponents to make 48.5% percent of their field goals, while the Hornets are a notch below that at 47.5% — both in the bottom seven in the NBA.
Coupled with their poor defenses so far, you have two of the most electric scorers in the league in Hornets guard LaMelo Ball and Nets guard Cam Thomas who will likely go at it to see who finishes the evening with the most points.
PrizePicks Projection To Consider: LaMelo Ball More 27.5 Points

NBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks
Below are the top picks for NBA DFS today, Tuesday, November 19, including NBA DFS projections from PrizePicks.
Celtics G Derrick White vs. Cavaliers: 3.5 3-Pointers Made — More
Despite their great team defense, the Cavaliers still struggle against point guards, giving up the most three-pointers and points to opposing point guards. With the Celtics running both Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, we’ll be opting for White here due to his perimeter shooting volume compared to Holiday.
White shoots nearly five more three-pointers per game than Holiday has this month and averages four more attempts per season. He’s averaging 9.4 3-point attempts per game — a career-high. He’s also hitting them at a career-high 40.5% clip.
With Holiday off the floor, White assumes more of the point guard role when Payton Pritchard (game-time decision, thumb sprain) comes on and should get the advantageous matchup during those minutes.
Derrick White Projections Today

Lakers C Anthony Davis vs. Jazz: 29 Points — More
Anthony Davis will enjoy one of the most fruitful matchups going up against Utah. Since the start of the season, Davis has been one of the best players in the league, averaging 31 points and 11 rebounds a game so far. He will now go up against a Utah defense that allows the second-most points to opposing centers in the NBA.
Five centers have scored 15-plus points against the Jazz including Mason Plumlee, who is not known for his scoring prowess. Davis will have John Collins guarding him and since his insertion in the starting lineup due to Walker Kessler’s injury, opposing bigs have had plenty of success against him. Trey Lyles and Ivica Zubac join Plumlee as players who’ve scored 15+ against Collins as the starting center.
Davis is by far the toughest matchup yet for Collins.
This is one of the best matchups possible for Davis who should get plenty of minutes even in a potential blowout due to the NBA Cup’s point differential tiebreaker.
Anthony Davis Projections Today

Hornets G-F Brandon Miller vs Nets: 17.5 Points — More
In a game with two of the worst defenses in terms of field goal percentage allowed, we are looking for a piece of the action in this game. The Nets currently give up the most points to small forwards in the league and are bottom-five in terms of three-pointers allowed to the small forward position.
Miller and Josh Green both assume the wing positions on the Hornets, but you should expect the second-year forward to take more shots compared to Green, as he has a 24.4% usage rate compared to Green’s 10.3%.
