A square in a Player Picks lineup may be marked as a “Did Not Play” (DNP).
DNPs do not count as a correct pick, but they don’t contribute toward a win either. Instead, the DNPd projection will be removed from your lineup and cause your potential payout to lower by one tier.
This is referred to as a “reverted lineup.” For example, if you select a 3-pick power play and one of your selections is marked DNP, your lineup will revert to a 2-pick power play.
Your lineup will still be eligible for a Minimum Guarantee payout even if it has DNPd projections. Keep in mind the payout depends on how many correct projections your lineup has, so each DNP will cause your payout to revert down by one level.
To see how lineups revert due to DNPs and Reboots, see below:
Flex Play Lineups:
6-Pick Flex → 5-Pick Flex
5-Pick Flex → 4-Pick Flex
4-Pick Flex → 3-Pick Flex
3-Pick Flex → 2-Pick Power
Power Play Lineups:
6-Pick Power → 5-Pick Power
5-Pick Power → 4-Pick Power
4-Pick Power → 3-Pick Power
3-Pick Power → 2-Pick Power
2-Pick Power → Refund, not eligible for payout
If DNPs or Reboots make it so that all remaining players in a lineup are on the same team, this will make the lineup ineligible. In this case, you will be issued an automatic refund.
A DNP can occur for any of the following reasons:
Player did not play
If a player in your lineup does not participate in a single second/snap for any reason, they will be DNPd.
Game was canceled or postponed to a new day
Depending on the sport, picks may be DNPd when a game is canceled or postponed to a new day. Please check the scoring chart for the league in question for more information.
Board Error
PrizePicks reserves the right to DNP any pick as a result of a board error. Projections on the board that contain clear errors will result in a DNP. For example, if an NFL Quarterback has a TD projection set to 45 TDs for a single game, the projection will be DNPd.
Less obvious instances of incorrectly displayed information will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
League-Specific Threshold for Activity
Different PrizePicks markets have specific rules regarding what qualifies as a DNP. For example, certain sports, like soccer, require players to start the game in order to be considered active. Other sports may even require the athlete to participate for the entire game.
Please consult the in-app scoring chart for the league in question for more information.
Note: In addition to the reasons above, PrizePicks reserves the right to DNP, change, or remove any projection at its sole discretion.
Reboots
If a projection in your lineup meets the requirements for our Reboot Policy, your lineup will revert down by one tier (e.g. from a 4-pick to a 3-pick).You will still be eligible for a Perfect Lineup Payout, but you will not be awarded any points for a rebooted projection.
Tied Projections
If an athlete in your lineup perfectly matches their stat projection down to the decimal, this is considered a Tied Projection.
Tied Projections do not count as a correct pick or an incorrect pick, and will cause your potential payout to be lowered, similar to a DNP. However, unlike DNPs, Tied Projections will not cause your lineup to become ineligible due to the same team or minimum pick requirement.
DNP, Reboot, and Tied Projection FAQ
Reboots and DNPs seem like the same thing, so why do you have both rules?
While they are similar, DNPs and Reboots cover different scenarios and affect the outcome of your lineup in different ways.
DNPs are generally for cases where an athlete was expected to be a more active participant in the game, but they ended up riding the bench or having very limited activity. A projection that is marked DNP is removed entirely from a lineup regardless of whether MORE or LESS was selected.
Reboots are generally for cases where an unexpected in-game event (like an injury, ejection, or some other unforeseen circumstance) causes an athlete to exit the game early. Reboots are only applied to MORE selections, meaning that you can still win and gain fantasy points for that projection if you chose LESS. Only specific sports have an active Reboot policy, and the eligibility requirements vary between each sport.
Last 5 Games or other in-app info was wrong. Will the projection be DNPd?
In-App Last 5 Games stats are a convenient way to check player performance, but they are not intended to function as official statistics. They are compiled by a third-party stat provider, so PrizePicks cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
There may be times when official scoring corrections are applied to the final score in a Lineup, but are not yet reflected in the Last 5 graph. If there are any discrepancies between stats displayed on the Last 5 Games and official box scores, the official box score will always be the authoritative source; we will not DNP projections due to incorrect Last 5 Games stats.
Other information found on the PrizePicks app, such as opponent or game time, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if found to be incorrect. If you want to request a refund due to incorrect information, you must do so before any game in your lineup has started.
What about Team and Culture Picks?
There is not currently a policy in place for DNPs, Reboots, or Tied Projections for Team or Culture Picks. All picks will be settled and paid out according to the closing and payout timelines listed on the details screen, using official rulings and stats.
Additionally, the details screen may list special circumstances that will cause that specific pick to become ineligible.
Unique circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Using the PrizePicks app is supposed to be fun! But sometimes, a hobby can turn into an unhealthy habit, and making sports and culture picks is no exception.
Whether your picks are correct or not, you might find yourself being drawn to try again without consideration of potential risks. The information on this page can help you stay aware of your habits and develop a plan to maintain control.
We want all PrizePicks Members to have a safe and enjoyable experience on our platform. That's why our app has built-in limits to safeguard you from depositing or submitting picks too much, or too often. We also require all Members to verify their age before creating an account. Anyone under the age of 18 will not be permitted to use PrizePicks, no matter what. If an eligible jurisdiction requires a higher age threshold, PrizePicks will honor the rules of that region. This means it may be possible for you to make picks in certain regions while being restricted in others.
We also provide customizable tools that allow you to take control of your experience, by making it easy to take a break if and when you need to.
We want to be clear: setting boundaries for yourself is not an indication that you have a problem. It's an effective way to make sure you don't develop habits that negatively affect your experience. We encourage you to explore the Responsible Gaming Tools and resources available in our app, and to make use of them as needed.
