Chargers WR Quentin Johnston vs. Texans (Demon)

Chargers WR Quentin Johnston had the best game of his career last week to close out the regular season. He caught 13 passes for 186 receiving yards, which is a career high for both. 

He’s become the WR2 behind the rookie WR Ladd McConkey, but is still having a great sophomore year, bringing in eight touchdowns in the regular season.

Johnston has been especially good for the Chargers in the red zone this year. He’s QB Justin Herbert’s top red-zone target with nine targets this year, and he has scored four of his touchdowns within the 20-yard line. The Texans allow the second-most touchdowns to receivers per game (1.2).

The Texans will have to focus on both Johnston and McConkey, which will be tough to do as both have become serious threats with one of the most accurate QBs in the league throwing to them. 

Johnston has at least six targets in each of the last five games, and we can expect that to continue on Saturday in what should be a close AFC Wild Card matchup.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert 1.5 Pass TDs — More

To add onto Chargers passing game here, look no further than Chargers QB Justin Herbert, who has had a fantastic season with 23 TDs and only three interceptions, despite a new-look receiving corps led by McConkey. While Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh loves to establish the run, Herbert is as reliable as they come when they get near the end zone.

The Texans’ front seven is all starting together for the first time this season, including LB Azeez Al-Shaair, who is returning from suspension. Al-Shaair is the 10th best run-stopping linebacker, per PFF, while DE Will Anderson Jr. ranks 13th and DE Danielle Hunter ranks 31st among 127 qualifying DEs in run-stopping. Don’t expect the Chargers to have a lot of success against a Texans defense that’s getting healthy at the right time.

Herbert has thrown at least two touchdowns in each of his last four games, and should do it again here. Herbert’s also been far more successful in the second half of the season as he’s adjusted to his receiving corps. In the first half of the year, Herbert averaged 211 passing yards per game, versus 247.6 passing yards per game in the last eight games.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews vs. Steelers (Demon)

The Steelers have allowed the most touchdowns to tight ends in the last five games of the season and now have to stop Ravens tight end Mark Andrews on Saturday.

Andrews finished the season with a touchdown in six-straight games, after starting off the season with no touchdowns in the first five. 

Him and QB Lamar Jackson have connected no matter what, and it seems as if Jackson is looking for Andrews, especially in the red zone. Over 50% of red zone targets go to Andrews and 10 of his 11 regular season touchdowns were in the red zone. 

Expect Jackson to continue looking for Andrews in this important playoff game on Saturday, especially as they'll be without WR Zay Flowers, which is a huge loss. The Steelers likely won’t be able to stop Andrews from scoring a touchdown.
