Best Touchdown Scorer Predictions for NFL Sunday: Week 16
After back-to-back perfect weeks, our touchdown scorer predictions last week sold us — Kyle Pitts did nothing (surprise!) and Brian Robinson Jr. tricked everybody. The only bright spot was Mike Evans, who exceeded expectations, bringing in two touchdowns against the Chargers.
This week, we’re bouncing back with three touchdown scorer predictions for Week 16. We’re staying in Atlanta for one of our touchdown scorer predictions, but we’re also adding some fresh faces to the list.
You can add these TD scorer predictions to your PrizePicks NFL Lineups and cash out if they hit. PrizePicks is now offering 1000x max payouts, so you can now win even more money on PrizePicks with these touchdown scorer predictions.

NFL Week 16 Best Touchdown Scorers
- Falcons WR Darnell Mooney vs Giants (Demon)
- Jets WR Davante Adams vs. Rams (Demon)
- Cardinals TE Trey McBride vs. Panthers (Demon)
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney vs. Giants (Demon)
When Falcons QB Kirk Cousins’ production fell off a cliff, so did WR Darnell Mooney’s. Mooney was the Falcons lead receiver all the way up until Week 11, but he has seemed to have fallen off a bit since then.
With QB Michael Penix Jr. now that starter in Atlanta, Mooney has the potential to return back to form and continue having one of the best seasons of his career.
Mooney is the Falcons’ deep threat receiver, having caught a team-high 19 catches for 20+ yards. While in his final two years of college, Penix led the FBS in touchdowns thrown for 20+ yards.
Penix is a gunslinger and has a big arm, Mooney is quick and is a downfield threat, this is a match made in heaven.
Mooney and Penix will get to debut their matchup against the New York Giants who have a middle of the pack secondary, but are currently battling injuries and just allowed five touchdowns last game against the Ravens.
Mooney is due for a big game, he hasn’t scored a touchdown in his last five games. He should be back scoring this week against the Giants.
Jets WR Davante Adams vs. Rams (Demon)
Jets WR Davante Adams and QB Aaron Rodgers are finally starting to click. Adams has four touchdowns through his last three games after having one in his first five games with the team.
Adams' role has increased week over week, currently sitting at 31.3% of the teams’ target share, passing WR Garrett Willson almost immediately since joining the team.
This week the Jets take on the Rams, who are third in touchdowns allowed to receivers per game and have allowed four to receivers through the last three games.
The Adams and Rodgers connection should keep on rolling in Week 16, making Adams one of the best touchdown scorer predictions available.

Cardinals TE Trey McBride vs. Panthers (Demon)
Cardinals TE Trey McBride has been lighting it up the past month, averaging 8.8 receptions and 91.4 receiving yards per game through his last five. He went crazy against the Seahawks going for 12 catches and 133 yards late November and hasn’t stopped rolling over defenses since.
Even with all his productivity, McBride has yet to score a single touchdown this season. It’s been 89 catches since his last touchdown, which is the longest drought in NFL history.
Cardinals’ fans and fantasy football fans have been begging for Cardinals QB Kyler Murray to throw him a touchdown, and it could finally happen this week.
The Cardinals are facing the Carolina Panthers, one of the worst teams in the league, but one of the best defenses for offenses to matchup against. The Panthers have allowed the most touchdowns to tight ends all season and allow the most fantasy points to tight ends per game, which is the perfect opportunity for McBride to finally score.
Murray promised this week that McBride will get in the end zone soon, so it’s possible he’ll show extra attention to McBride this week. If he does, you’ll want to be a part of the action, so I’d lock in McBride in your Lineups this week.
