Fresh off an upset victory against the Eagles, the Falcons — led by Kirko Chains — will look to defend their home field against the Chiefs. The Chiefs have made a habit of pulling off dramatic wins this year, with both of their wins thus far decided in the final few seconds.

Chiefs vs. Falcons: Sunday Night Football Picks for PrizePicks
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce — Less than 5.0 Receptions
In the Chiefs’ last outing, they faced a Bengals team that ranked 31st in yards allowed to tight ends in 2023.
In what was set up to be a Kelce masterclass, he finished the night with one reception for five yards on three targets. The week before, he mustered three receptions and 34 yards on four targets.
The Falcons gave up four receptions to Steelers TE Pat Freiemuth for only 27 yards, and three receptions to Eagles TE Dallas Goedert for 38 yards. It seems the Falcons aren’t as vulnerable to tight ends as the Bengals were expected to be.
Age, off-field drama, or performance anxiety with his girlfriend watching, whatever it is — Kelce has looked washed so far into this young season. With just a 58% route share last week — his lowest in a healthy game since 2021 — Father Time may be catching up with the 34-year-old Kelce.
Rashee Rice appears to be emerging in his second year as Mahomes' go-to target, being Mahomes preferred target in back to back games by a landslide. To make it worse for Kelce, rookie receiver Xavier Worthy is a lovely second option for Mahomes with the fastest speed in the league — showing flashes of the old Mahomes to Tyreek Hill connection.
Falcons QB Kirk Cousins — More than 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (Demon Pick)
After the first half of the game, murmurs could be heard about Kirk Cousins. Questions were popping up, is it time to play the rookie? Will first-round QB Michael Penix Jr. see the second half? Is Kirk officially washed? He put all of those to bed.
In the second half, Cousins went into primetime mode, going 13-for-16 for 166 passing yards and 2 TDs. The second TD came on a drive where Cousins had less than two minutes to work with. The narrative quickly shifted from Penix time to 'Kirk’s still got it.'
Against the Steelers’ ferocious defense in Week 1, Cousins managed just 1 TD, but with the rust seemingly shaken off, he could clear this demon pick with ease against a much more breakable defense.
Last season Cousins only played eight games, but had 2 TDs or more in 7-of-8. If Cousins maintains his second-half form from last week (or even last year), this likely won’t remain a Demon pick in future games. It likely just comes down to him trusting the repaired Achilles.
PrizePicks also has a Kirk Cousins 0.5 Pass Touchdown Goblin projection on the board if you trust Cousins to get one and want to go the safer route. If you’re looking for a touchdown combo, look no further than TE Kyle Pitts, who is due for a touchdown.
Note: Demon picks add a payout boost to your lineup on PrizePicks, as they are more difficult projections to hit.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson — More than 0.5 Rushing + Reception Touchdowns
Not a fan of the Cousins Demon pick? Then this one may be for you.
Regression lovers rejoice, as Robinson is currently on pace to finish the season with 1,980 yards and no touchdowns. I think this is the week the trend gets bucked.
Robinson has only one TD in his last six games, and everyone knows you have to keep your stars happy. A touchdown would go a long way in rewarding the second-year back for his efforts, both in production and in the immeasurables he’s been racking up, such as the blocks he’s been picking up.
Sunday Night Football Prediction: Chiefs 27, Falcons 24
In what I see being a close one, I think the Chiefs will get it done. Mahomes and co have shown time and time again that if you give them a chance to go down and score, they’ll take it.
The Falcons offense caught a new life last week, so three touchdowns by both squads wouldn't surprise me. A Harrison Butker field goal may just be the difference in sending the home crowd out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium disappointed.
