Top CFB DFS Projections Week 5
Pass Yards
Caleb Williams - QB, USC
Caleb Williams continues to impress NFL scouts in 2023. So far he’s averaging 300 passing YPG and over 3 passing TDs. This week he takes on PAC-12 opponent, Colorado. Coach Prime and crew finally came back down to reality last week in Oregon after getting stomped on by the Ducks.
It’ll be an interesting matchup this week as the Heisman hopeful, Williams, looks to add to his resume against a defense proven to be weak.

Sam Hartman - QB, Notre Dame
Notre Dame suffered a tough loss at home last week against Ohio State. Despite solid performances across the board for the Irish, late game coaching and personnel mistakes proved costly as OSU overcame their goal line stand when Notre Dame only fielded 10 players.
Sam Hartman will look to bounce back strong this week against Duke, another top 25 opponent. He’s averaging just under 250 passing YPG thus far but Duke will be a formidable opponent. If the Irish want to keep any chance of playoff hopes alive, Hartman will need to deliver a statement win against the Blue Devils.

Receiving Yards
Malik Nabers - WR, LSU
Another week, another highlight reel from Malik Nabers from LSU. The breakout star is averaging about 130 YPG this season, including his last 2 games where he went for 130 and 239 yards.
This week will be his toughest test to date as he and the Tigers face #20 Ole Miss. He’s currently projected at 93.5 yards but don’t be surprised to see him go off for another record performance.

Rush Yards
Will Shipley - RB, Clemson
Clemson hasn’t been the powerhouse we’ve come to know and expect in the last decade. Dabo seems to have been left behind by the new era of NIL deals and the transfer portal. However, there is still life down in South Carolina after coming close to upsetting the 4th ranked FSU Seminoles.
Will Shipley is helping lead the Tigers this season. Averaging over 70 YPG and adding nearly 25 receiving YPG on top of that. This week he’s projected to rush for 74.5 yards. He’ll need all of that to get the season momentum back in Clemson’s favor.

Jonathan Brooks - RB, Texas
TEXAS IS BACK! At least for now. They knocked off Bama in Tuscaloosa this season already and haven't shown signs of slowing down yet. A large part of that success is due to running back Jonathon Brooks.
Averaging about 95 YPG with 4 total TDs, the Longhorn RB is getting things done down south. This week he’s projected at 89.5 against Big 12 foe, Kansas, who’s having one of their best seasons in years.
