Top CFB Week 6 DFS Projections
Pass Yards
Will Howard - QB, Kansas State
After winning the Big 12 title last year, Will Howard and Kansas State have kept the pressure on as they’ve begun the 2023 campaign with a 3-1 record. Despite throwing a pick in each of the 4 games, Howard has impressed fans with his arm and legs.
This week he’s projected at 249.5 yards, about 20 short of his season average. If the Wildcats continue to play at this high level, OK State shouldn’t be much of a challenge.

Quinn Ewers - QB, Texas
The Red River Rivalry is BACK! One of the most legendary rivalries in CFB returns this Saturday as Oklahoma plays in Austin against one of the top teams in the nation. Unfortunately for Texas, OU is also making waves this season.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers has been electric for the Longhorns this year and is one if the reasons they’re #3 in the country. He’s averaging over 270 yards per game, which would be even higher if not for a hiccup game against Wyoming where he only threw for 131. Anything can happen in a rivalry game like this, but if Texas is for real, Ewers will need a big game this week.

Jayden Daniels - QB, LSU
LSU isn’t having their best year, but Jayden Daniels might be. The QB of the 3-2 Tigers is having a monster start to the season. Through 5 games, Daniels is throwing for over 340 yards per game and rushing for nearly another 60!
There are quite a few Heisman hopefuls ahead of Daniels on the shortlist thus far, but if he sustains these numbers, there’s no reason to count him out of the race. This week he faces Mizzou who have shown flashes early on and are currently ranked 2 spots higher than LSU. Daniels will need to fire on all cylinders to steal this one in Missouri.

Receiving Yards
De’Zhaun Stribling - WR, OKST
Oklahoma State face their toughest test yet this week against reigning Big 12 champs, Kansas State. After rotating a few different quarterbacks, it seems they might have finally settled on one this week.
That will come as good news for Stribling who’s off to a decent start but could definitely use more consistency to take his game up a level. Quarterback Alan Bowman and Stribling have likely taken plenty of reps this week in prep for the big game. Could that be enough to push Stribling over his season average of 66 yards?

Xavier Weaver - WR, Colorado
It’s been a tough 2 weeks for the Buffaloes. A brutal loss to Oregon followed by a failed comeback late against USC. But that hasn’t slowed down QB Shedeur Sanders or receiver Xavier Weaver.
Through 5 games he has nearly 500 yards receiving and a pair of TDs. He’s in a bit of slump right now but this week against ASU could be a chance to bounce back against an inferior opponent. He’s projected at 84.5 yards, about 15 shy of his season average.
