Sleeper RBs for 2024 Fantasy Football

Zamir White, Las Vegas Raiders - RB22

Zamir White has been waiting to show the league his talents since 2022, and now he’ll finally get the chance to be unleashed.

During the offseason, the Raiders decided to let star running back Josh Jacobs head to Green Bay. They didn’t make too many impactful moves to build their running back room, leaving White as the clear starter for the 2024 season.

At Georgia, White was known for his speed and physicality, which he’s been mostly preserving since joining the league. With his improved role in Las Vegas, White has the potential to be a solid running back option in fantasy this year.

In the last three weeks of 2023, White posted rushing lines of 17-69-1, 22-145, 20-71, and 25-112, to go along with nine catches. If he gets that kind of usage in 2024, he makes a great high-floor RB2 with upside.

PrizePicks NFLSZN Projections: 825.5 rush yards, 4.5 rush TDs, 30.5 receptions, 224.5 rec yards, 0.5 rec TDs

Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans - RB32

Sleep on Tyjae Spears if you want. Spears could make a tremendous leap heading into his sophomore season, and he’s in a very favorable situation with the questionable running back room in Tennessee.

In his first season, backing up Derrick Henry (now in Baltimore), Spears ranked ninth amongst all running backs in targets and was fifth in rushing yards amongst rookie running backs, showing he has potential as a valuable dual-threat running back.

Spears also spent the majority of his rookie season behind Henry, who has since gone to the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans picked up veteran Tony Pollard from the Cowboys, who Tyjae Spears could very well compete with for the starting job.

Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons

If you couldn’t get Bijan Robinson, it’s okay. The Atlanta Falcons have one of the best blossoming running back rooms in young studs, Robinson and Tyler Allgeier.

Allgeier enters this season with 1,718 rushing yards already racked up in his career and a 1,000-yard rushing season. He’ll be splitting carries with Robinson, as the Falcons seem set on a shared backfield, but he has the potential to be a solid fantasy option, especially if Robinson goes down.
