NFL Conference Championships: NFL DFS Cheat Sheet for PrizePicks

Find the top NFL DFS picks, matchups to target, and TD scorer predictions for PrizePicks in the NFL Championship Championships below in the PrizePicks Cheat Sheet for NFL DFS this week.

Conference Championship Matchups for NFL DFS

Here’s a full breakdown on the two Conference Championship games for your NFL DFS Lineups on PrizePicks, with my favorite player picks for each Conference Championship.

Eagles vs. Commanders — Sunday, 3 p.m. ET

The Washington Commanders face a daunting challenge against an elite Philadelphia Eagles defense that ranks top five in passing yards allowed and top seven in rushing yards allowed.

Rookie QB Jayden Daniels has a passing yards projection of 225.5 — roughly 30 yards higher than the Eagles’ per-game average of just under 200. In their last meeting, Daniels struggled behind a weak offensive line against a stout Eagles front, limiting his time in the pocket to find downfield opportunities.

On the flip side, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts takes on a Commanders defense that has trouble stopping the run, giving up an average of 137 yards on the ground. The last time these teams met, Hurts rushed for over 40 yards, easily surpassing his 31.5-yard projection. With a highly capable offensive line, Hurts should once again take advantage of Washington’s defensive front on his home turf.

PrizePicks Picks: Jayden Daniels 225.5 Pass Yards — Less / Jalen Hurts 31.5 Rush Yards — More

Bills vs. Chiefs — Sunday, 6:30 p.m. ET

While the Bills’ secondary has been suspect for much of the season, they’ve been improving lately, allowing an average of 215 passing yards per game. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ current projection sits at 253.5 yards — a threshold he has exceeded in just 53% of his games this year. The last time he faced the Bills, he managed only 196 passing yards.

Conversely, Bills QB Josh Allen will square off against a Chiefs secondary that concedes about 235 passing yards per game. Notably, Allen has played Kansas City six times and surpassed a 230-yard benchmark in all but one matchup.

Moreover, Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix recently put up over 300 passing yards against the Chiefs’ defense; given Allen’s superior skill set, he could be poised for a big game in a spot where he will be relied on heavily to get the W.

PrizePicks Pick: Bills QB Josh Allen 231.5 Pass Yards – More

Best OL/DL Matchups to Target in Conference Championships

Games are won in the trenches, especially in the NFL Playoffs. Here are two OL vs. DL mismatches to take advantage of for NFL DFS on PrizePicks the Conference Championship games this weekend.

Eagles OL vs. Commanders DL

The Philadelphia Eagles boast one of the most dominant offensive lines in the NFL. LT Jordan Mailata ranks 1st among 81 tackles, per PFF, surrendering zero quarterback hits, one sack, and just 14 pressures all year. Opposite him, RT Lane Johnson ranks 8th out of 81 tackles, having allowed only one QB hit and 10 pressures with zero sacks. Between them is LG Landon Dickerson, who sits 4th out of 75 guards per PFF, and has permitted a mere four QB hits across 1,000 snaps.

Facing this formidable front, the Commanders’ defensive line is led by Jonathan Allen (125th of 140 interior defenders in run-stopping, per PFF), Daron Payne (99th out of 140), and rookie Jer’Zhan Newton (105th out of 140).

Their deficiencies against the run were on display the last time they faced the Eagles, when Philadelphia’s ground attack — spearheaded by RB Saquon Barkley — dominated. Given this significant matchup advantage in the trenches, Philadelphia is poised for another big day on the ground.

PrizePicks Pick: Eagles RB Saquon Barkley 126.5 Rush Yards — More

Chiefs OL  vs. Bills DL

Kansas City’s offensive line also stands among the league’s best. Center Creed Humphrey tops all NFL centers (1st) and has yet to allow a sack in over 1,000 snaps, yielding just seven total pressures. Chiefs LG Joe Thuney has allowed six QB hits and zero sacks, placing him among the upper echelon of 75 graded guards, per PFF. On the right side, Trey Smith ranks 12th out of 75 guards, per PFF, and he too has not surrendered a single sack.

Buffalo’s pass rush, once a strength, has regressed. Defensive end A.J. Epenesa ranks 87th out of 119 edge defenders overall and 97th out of 111 in pass-rushing. Ed Oliver, a 2019 first-round pick, is 18th out of 126 among interior linemen overall but struggles against the run (94th/140). The Bills’ best threat is Greg Rousseau, who ranks 15th out of 111 in pass-rushing, though he has under 10 sacks this season.

In Buffalo’s last game against the Chiefs and Mahomes, they got two sacks, but in last year’s Playoffs, Mahomes was not sacked once.

PrizePicks Pick: Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes 2 Sacks Taken — Less or 0.5 INT — Less

Best WR vs. CB Matchups in Conference Championships

All year, we’ve identified the best WR vs. CB matchups to target for NFL DFS on PrizePicks in this Cheat Sheet. We’ve only got two games to choose from in the NFC and AFC Conference Championships, but here are two WRs who have the advantage in their expected WR vs. CB matchups.

Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins vs. Bills CB Rasul Douglas

NFL DFS Cheat Sheet PrizePicks Picks for NFL Conference Championships

Bills CB Rasul Douglas stands out as one of the weaker cornerbacks remaining in the playoffs, ranking 99th out of 116 in coverage per PFF, and allowing a near 125 passer rating on 40 receptions this season (over 12 yards per reception). He draws an especially tough assignment in veteran DeAndre Hopkins, who has averaged a 105.8 passer rating when targeted, nearly 11 yards per reception, and surpassed 600 yards despite a midseason trade from Tennessee, one of the league’s worst passing offenses.

PrizePicks Picks: DeAndre Hopkins 24.5 Receiving Yards — More

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith vs. Commanders CB Noah Igbinoghene

NFL DFS Cheat Sheet PrizePicks Picks for NFL Conference Championships

Washington CB Noah Igbinoghene is arguably the weakest slot corner among playoff teams, ranking 103rd of 116 in coverage, per PFF. He has allowed a near-100 passer rating and nearly 10 yards per reception, conceding 45 receptions across 500 coverage snaps.

He’ll match up against Philadelphia WR DeVonta Smith, who’s quietly enjoying one of his best seasons: over 900 yards, a 125 passer rating when targeted, over 12 yards per reception, and 8 touchdowns (12th among receivers). This mismatch could prove critical in the Eagles’ passing game out of the slot, as Hurts should look for quick passes to lessen the load on his knee ailment.

PrizePicks Picks: Devonta Smith 49.5 Receiving Yards — More

Best TD Scorer Predictions for Conference Championships

Here are two of the top TD scorer predictions for the Championship. Find more TD scorer predictions for the NFC Championship here, and the AFC Championship TD scorer predictions here. Take these players’ Rush+Rec TD projection on PrizePicks and cash it if they score a rushing or receiving TD.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley vs. Commanders

NFL DFS Cheat Sheet PrizePicks Picks for NFL Conference Championships

Saquon Barkley appears poised for another strong outing against one of the NFL’s weakest run-stopping units. Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne grade out poorly in run defense, while linebacker Frankie Luvu—despite an overall solid season—ranks just 57th out of 86 in stopping the run. The lone bright spot for Washington is Bobby Wagner, who sits 2nd among 86 linebackers. Nevertheless, Barkley’s explosive ability and the Eagles’ dominant offensive line should create favorable opportunities on the ground in this pivotal postseason clash.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce vs. Bills LBs

NFL DFS Cheat Sheet PrizePicks Picks for NFL Conference Championships

Kelce’s touchdown scoring projection has become one of the most popular picks of the PrizePicks board leading up to the NFL Conference Championships, and for good reason.

The Mahomes-Kelce connection is historically one of the most prolific playoff duos. This season, Kelce ranks among the league leaders at tight end, sitting third in targets, third in receptions, third in receiving yards, and inside the top 20 in receiving touchdowns. That spells trouble for a Bills linebacking corps that has struggled in coverage:

  • LB Terrel Bernard: 79th out of 83 linebackers in coverage
  • LB Dorian Williams: 77th out of 83
  • LB Matt Milano: allows a passer rating over 100 when targeted, albeit on limited snaps due to injury

With Kelce exploiting mismatches at every level, and coming off a 100+ yard game, Kansas City has a clear opportunity to capitalize through the air with their Hall of Fame tight end.
