NFL Week 12 Cheat Sheet for PrizePicks

Find the top picks, matchups to target, and TD scorer predictions for NFL DFS Week 12 below in the PrizePicks Cheat Sheet.

Top Games to Target in Week 12 for DFS

Colts vs. Lions — 1 p.m. ET

Colts QB Anthony Richardson is set to return to the starting lineup as QB1 for the rest of the season. He faces a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions, who rank 27th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game and 30th in pass attempts per game. Richardson has a projected passing yardage of 203 yards this week.

In his last outing, he threw for nearly 300 yards against the New York Jets, who have a stronger secondary than the Lions. It seems Richardson might just be back in form.

Lions QB Jared Goff is having an exceptional season, averaging nearly 250 passing yards per game. His projection of 243.5 yards is slightly below his season average. Goff also benefits from a favorable matchup against the Colts' defense, which ranks 25th in the NFL by allowing over 240 passing yards per game and a 22.5 completions per game to quarterbacks, placing them outside the top 20 in these categories.

Goff should have ample time in the pocket, as the Indianapolis pass rush is one of the weaker units in the NFL. Defensive end Kwity Paye ranks 77th out of 104 defensive ends in pass rushing, and Dayo Odeyingbo ranks 54th out of 104 in the same category. The Lions offensive line is expected to be a significant advantage in this matchup.

The Lions pass rush has been neutralized since the loss of defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, his replacement Josh Paschal, ranks 89th out of 104 defensive ends in pass rushing has yet to step up and fill the void.

PrizePicks to Consider: Jared Goff More than 247.5 Pass Yards / Anthony Richardson More than 205.5 Pass Yards

Cardinals vs. Seahawks — 4:25 p.m. ET

An important divisional game between the Cardinals and the Seahawks is projected to be high-scoring. The Cardinals' defense is one of the weaker units in the NFL, allowing over 230 passing yards per game, ranking outside the top 20 in the league.

They also allow over 22 completions per game, which similarly places them outside the top 20. Their two cornerbacks, Starling Thomas and Sean Murphy-Bunting, both rank in the bottom half of the league in coverage, potentially allowing Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf to have outstanding games.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is projected for 257.5 passing yards. Smith has exceeded his projection in 60% of his games, averaging nearly 280 yards per game. Facing a very weak Arizona Cardinals defense positions him to easily surpass this projection.

As for Kyler Murray and the Cardinals, Murray is having a terrific season thus far, committing only three turnovers. He is a major contributor to why the Cardinals are currently 6-4. The Seattle Seahawks struggle against the run, ranking 25th out of 32 teams in rush yards allowed per game and rush attempts per game.

The last time RB James Conner played against the Seattle Seahawks' defense, he rushed for 150 yards on 27 attempts. A significant factor in this is the Seahawks' weak linebacker corps, led by Ernest Jones and rookie fourth-round pick Tyrese Knight after the release of their other linebacker, Dodson.

PrizePicks to Consider: Geno Smith More than 257.5 Pass Yards / DK Metcalf More than 66.5 Yards / James Conner More than 49.5 Rush Yards (Goblin)

Best OL/DL Matchups to Target: Week 10

Chiefs OL vs. Panthers DL

The Chiefs offensive line is one of the best in the NFL, with the interior being the strength of the unit. Center Creed Humphrey ranks first out of 39 centers and has not allowed a single sack this season, with only six quarterback pressures. Left guard Joe Thuney ranks fifth out of 77 guards and has also not allowed a single sack, allowing only six total pressures. Right guard Trey Smith ranks 10th out of 77 guards and has similarly not allowed a single sack this season.

The Panthers defensive line is one of the weaker units in the NFL. The interior is led by DeShawn Williams, who ranks 94th out of 116 defensive linemen, and their pass rush is headed by Jadeveon Clowney, an offseason acquisition who has not lived up to expectations, ranking 63rd out of 114 defensive ends with only one sack and a total of 20 quarterback pressures this year.

PrizePicks to Consider: Patrick Mahomes More than 239.5 Pass Yards / Kareem Hunt More than 73.5 Pass Yards

Dolphins DL vs. Patriots OL

The Dolphins defensive line is led by longtime veteran Calais Campbell, who ranks among the top five interior defensive linemen in the NFL out of 116. Rookie Chop Robinson, a first-round pick out of Penn State, is ranked among the top 25 pass rushers this season despite limited snaps, primarily playing on third downs. Robinson has recorded a total of 26 quarterback pressures and 21 quarterback hurries this season.

The Patriots offensive line has been plagued by injuries and poor performances all year. Their center Ben Brown ranks dead last among all centers in the NFL, allowing the most sacks at his position with four. Right tackle Demontre Jacobs has also been abysmal this season, ranking 74th out of 77 tackles in the NFL and allowing the fifth-most sacks at the tackle position with six. Left guard Michael Jordan has allowed nearly 20 quarterback pressures this season as well.

Best WR/CB Matchups to Target: Week 12

Colts WR Josh Downs vs. Lions CB Amik Robertson

Colts WR Josh Downs is quietly having one of the best seasons as a slot receiver this year, ranking as a top-10 wide receiver. When targeted, Downs boasts a 100 passer rating with over 11 yards per reception. More importantly, he has accumulated 68 targets this year, placing him in the top 20 in the NFL, and has hauled in 50 of them, ranking him in the top 15 in receptions.

This is quite impressive considering the quarterback changes the Colts have faced this season. Richardson was a perfect 5-for-5 when targeting Downs last week, which should help their rapport going forward.

The Detroit Lions employ a lot of man coverage, so we can expect slot corner Amik Robertson to be matched up against him. Robertson is allowing a near 100 passer rating with over 12 yards per reception, ranking him 87th out of 111 graded cornerbacks in coverage.

PrizePicks to Consider: Josh Downs More than 57.5 Receiving Yards

Buccaneers WR Mike Evans vs. Giants CB Deonte Banks

Deonte Banks has been absolutely abysmal for the New York Giants this season, ranking 92nd out of 111 cornerbacks in coverage. When targeted, Banks is allowing a near 140 passer rating with over 13 yards per reception.

The Buccaneers should get a fully healthy Mike Evans back this week, though he is listed as questionable. Despite battling a hamstring injury, Evans still ranks inside the top five in receiving touchdowns with six, serving as Baker Mayfield’s number one target with Chris Godwin sidelined. Evans boasts a near 100 passer rating with approximately 13 yards per reception.

PrizePicks to Consider: Mike Evans More than 55.5 Rec Yards / 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs (Demon)

Best TD Scorer Picks for Week 12

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb vs. Commanders

Despite losing his QB Dak Prescott, WR CeeDee Lamb still had an impressive game and saw a high volume of targets against the Texans last week. Commanders nickel cornerback Noah Igbinoghene ranks as one of the worst slot cornerbacks in the NFL, allowing a 100 passer rating with just over 8 yards per reception. He has allowed 31 of his 47 targets to be completed, ranking him in the bottom half of the league in coverage through 12 weeks.

As for CeeDee Lamb, he ranks second in targets, third in receptions, and fourth in receiving yards in the NFL. He plays about 55% of his snaps in the slot, which should match him up with Igbinoghene quite often. Expect Lamb to be heavily targeted by QB Cooper Rush once again this week.

PrizePicks to Consider: CeeDee Lamb 0.5 Rec+Rush TDs

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey vs. Packers

Christian McCaffrey since returning from his Achilles injury, hasn’t delivered his typical performance yet, performing much worse than the running backs who played in his stead. So far, he’s averaging just 3.7 yards per carry with 118 rushing yards on 32 attempts and is yet to achieve a rushing touchdown this season.

This is likely to change this week against the Green Bay Packers weak run defense.

The interior of their defensive line features T.J. Slaton, who ranks 98th out of 127 interior defensive linemen in run stopping, and Kenny Clark, who ranks 80th. The linebacking corps is one of the worst run-stopping units in the NFL, led by Quay Walker, who ranks 73rd out of 83 linebackers, and McDuffie, who ranks 56th in run defense.

PrizePicks to Consider: Christian McCaffrey 0.5 Rec+Rush TDs
