Time: 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff
Location: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY.
TV: CBS, Paramount+ (streaming)
This game, from the outside looking in, feels like the biggest of the entire Divisional Round weekend, and it’s expected to be the closest. Two red hot teams, led by QBs that are competing for the MVP title with each other in Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen — we could be in for some fireworks.
Both teams won comfortably in the Wild Card weekend, with the Ravens boasting a win of 14 points against the Steelers and the Bills dismantling the Broncos, winning by 24. While many saw those results as the likely outcome, this one is far more 50/50 in picking which team led by an MVP frontrunner will come out ahead.
Ravens RB Derrick Henry Longest Rush 20.5 Yards — More
Ravens RB Derrick Henry has been our go-to guy for TD scoring projection this season, but one stat has been slowly emerging as an option to ride with King Henry that I like even better. His longest rush attempt of the game.
On the season, Weeks 1-18, Henry among all running backs ranks:
- 2nd in rushes of 10+ yards (45)
- 1st in rushes of 20+ yards (19)
- 2nd in rushes of 30+ yards (9)
- 2nd in rushes of 40+ yards (5)
- t-2nd in rushes of 50+ yards (3)
- 2nd in longest rush all season at 87 yards
All this to be said, we can now get him at a standard projection — rather than a Goblin to score a TD — and only having to break one off of more than 20 yards for this to cash. He’s averaged more than one rush of 20+ yards per game this season.
Henry’s dominance isn’t slowing down in the postseason, as seen by his runs of 34 and 44 yards against the Steelers last week. In fact, a case could be made they are just now unleashing Henry down the stretch, as the last three weeks he has had more attempts than any other three-week stretch of his season.
The Bills rank 20th in yards per carry allowed and tied at 17th in rushes of 20+ yards allowed on the season. Henry has cleared this projection in 15-of-19 games this season and I don’t see him stopping now, as his volume is only increasing, and should continue in the frigid Buffalo conditions.

Bills QB Josh Allen 23 Fantasy Score — More
When Bills QB Josh Allen needs a win, he turns into superman. In 11 playoff games he has a passer rating of 102.3 (a better rating than he’s had this regular season), has thrown for 2,995 yards and 23 touchdowns, with only four interceptions. He’s also had 609 rush yards and 5 rush TDs.
That’s good for a stat-line average of 272 pass yards, 2 TDs, 55 rush yards, .45 rush TDs and .36 interceptions per playoff game.
If that’s any indication of the Allen we will get in this barn-burner of a matchup Sunday, he shouldn’t have any problem clearing this Fantasy Score projection. Through his 18 games he played in, Allen cleared this projection in 12-of-18.
Allen's passing TD projection of 1.5 is attractive in this spot too, but it leaves the door open for what happened in Week 11 against Kansas City; Allen only passed for one but ran for one too en route to hitting 26.98 Fantasy Score.
Allen's playoff average stat-line would be equal to an average of 26.78 Fantasy Score a game when he’s in the postseason. Or, you could take his average Fantasy Score from this season and the game last week and he lands at 26.14.
Either way you slice it, Allen has been great this season and even better historically in the postseason. The hot streak continues in a game that demands a masterclass out of him to compete with the loaded Ravens, and Allen should likely soar past this 23 Fantasy Score.
TD Scorer Prediction: Ravens TE Mark Andrews (Demon)
It didn’t hit last week, but once again it seems like the best Demon TD scorer projection on the board. Let’s not forget that across the entirety of the season there wasn’t a single player, TE, WR, or RB with more touchdowns thrown to him in the red zone (within 20 yards of the endzone) than Ravens TE Mark Andrews.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson also threw a league-leading 31 Passing TDs in the red zone through the regular season, adding two more red zone TD passes to his tally in the Steelers Wild Card matchup.
The Bills defense ranks middle of the pack in TE touchdowns allowed at .28/game and tied for 10th worse in passing TDs allowed per game at 1.6 a game.
We got a guy Lamar loves to find in the red zone at a rate more than anyone else in the league does, a match slated to be a high-scoring affair, and he didn’t manage to get one last week. This is a perfect bounce-back spot for Andrews for me — especially now that he is getting a handful of snaps directly when the team wants to run the tush push being the cherry on top, with six carries over the last seven games, including two last week.

Note: Demon picks add a payout boost to your lineup on PrizePicks, as they are more difficult projections to hit.
AFC Divisional Round Prediction: Ravens 28, Bills 24
The Ravens have 65 touchdowns on the season. The Bills have 65 touchdowns on the season. Only the Lions have more in the NFL. Both teams are led by the #1 and #2 most likely individuals to win the MVP. All signs point to a high-scoring affair in the AFC Divisional Round.
The Ravens seemingly have a little more wiggle room for QB error given their exceptional supporting cast, but that’s not to say Allen doesn’t have a good group of guys either.
Ultimately, I give the rushing attack edge to Lamar and Henry over Allen and James Cook, and I think that will be the difference. When push comes to shove, with the wear and tear of the game I can’t see the Bills matching the damage the Ravens offense can do, and I see them winning in a one-score game.
