Cowboys vs. Saints Injury Report
Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (knee) — Doubtful
After suffering what looked to be a serious knee injury in Week 1, Ferguson appears to have dodged a serious issue. Ferguson hasn’t practiced this week, but Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that he could still play against the Saints if he can practice Saturday.
Earlier in the week, Ferguson was expected to miss 2-3 weeks, so expect him to miss this one. TE Luke Schoonmaker would fill in if Ferguson can’t go.
Relevant PrizePicks Projection: WR CeeDee Lamb 7.0 Receptions
More Cowboys vs. Saints Injury Notes
Saints TE Foster Moreau entered into the concussion protocol after Week 1, but he did return to practice Thursday. If he is unable to play, then TE Juwan Johnson could receive additional targets.
Relevant Projection: TE Juwan Johnson 2.5 Receptions
Lions vs. Buccaneers Injury Report
Lions WR Jameson Williams (ankle) — Questionable
Williams is dealing with an ankle injury that has limited him at practice all week. However, he was able to finish last week’s game with the ankle injury. If he is unable to play in Week 2, Kalif Raymond could see added targets behind WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and TE Sam LaPorta.
Relevant Projection: WR Amon-Ra St. Brown 80.5 Receiving Yards
Packers vs. Colts Injury Report
Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) — OUT
Love could miss multiple games with his knee injury, leaving the Packers to turn to Malik Willis as their starting quarterback. Willis has made three starts previously in his career and he threw for fewer than 100 yards in each of them.
Relevant Projection: WR Jayden Reed 46.5 Receiving Yards
More Packers vs. Saints Injury Notes
Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) has been a limited participant in practice after sitting out Week 1. Even if he does return, he should fill a limited role behind Josh Jacobs, who looks to be the Packers’ workhorse.
Colts WR Josh Downs (ankle) has been a limited participant in practice after sitting out Week 1. His potential return could impact Alec Pierce, who caught all three of his targets for 125 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
Relevant Projection: WR Michael Pittman 5.0 Receptions

Vikings vs. 49ers Injury Report
49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (calf/Achilles) — Out
After being ruled out just before the 49ers Week 1 matchup with the Jets, it has been a rollercoaster ride as to whether or not McCaffrey will be available for Week 2. However, on Friday, the 49ers ruled him out and reportedly are considering injured reserve (likely with designation to return) due to his Achilles tendonitis.
RB Jordan Mason filled in for him admirably against the Jets, turning 28 carries into 147 yards and one touchdown in a dominant performance vs the Jets. He should continue to lead the backfield with McCaffrey sidelined.
Relevant Projection: QB Brock Purdy 238.5 Pass Yards
More Vikings vs. 49ers Injury Notes
Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) has been ruled out. Jalen Nailor could emerge as the Vikings’ top wide receiver option behind Justin Jefferson. He had a 21-yard touchdown reception versus the Giants in Week 1 on 13 snaps.
Relevant Projection: WR Justin Jefferson 79.5 Receiving Yards
Patriots vs. Seahawks Injury Report
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (oblique) — Doubtful
Walker suffered his oblique injury late in the game against the Broncos last week. He has not practiced this week, and looks unlikely to play in Week 2. If he is unable to play, Zach Charbonnet would be in line for a significant workload. Here are Charbonnet’s statlines in three games last year filling in for Walker:
- vs Rams: 15 rushes, 47 yards, 6 receptions, 22 yards
- vs 49ers: 14 rushes, 47 yards, 4 receptions, 11 yards
- vs Dallas: 19 rushes, 60 yards, 1 TD, 1 reception, 39 yards
Relevant Projection: QB Geno Smith 221.5 Pass Yards
Commanders vs. Giants Injury Report
Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) — Will Play
Nabers popped up on the Giants injury report Thursday listed as a limited participant in practice. Head coach Brian Daboll said Friday that Nabers will play against the Commanders, so Nabers being limited Thursday was likely just a precaution.
Relevant Projection: WR Malik Nabers 65.5 Receiving Yards
Panthers vs. Chargers Injury Report
Panther WR Joshua Palmer (knee) — Questionable
Palmer led the Chargers in snaps and caught two of four targets for 15 yards versus the Raiders in Week 1. If he misses this game, expect Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston to lead the Chargers at wide receiver. McConkey led the team in targets with seven on 23 pass snaps last week.
Relevant Projection: WR Ladd McConkey 44.5 Receiving Yards
Jaguars vs. Browns Injury Report
Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) — Out
Njoku has not been placed on injured reserve, but he has the potential to miss several games. With an underwhelming backup in Jordan Akins set to take his place, the Browns could rely even more heavily on wide receivers Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy if Deshaun Watson is able to get them the ball.
Relevant Projection: WR Amari Cooper 59.5 Receiving Yards
Cardinals vs. Rams Injury Report
Rams WR Puka Nacua (knee) — Out
Nacua has been placed on injured reserve, meaning that he will miss at least the next four games for the Rams. With him going down early in Week 1 against the Giants, Cooper Kupp stepped up to catch 14 of 21 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Behind Kupp, Demarcus Robinson was next in snaps, playing 49 total pass snaps in the comeback effort. Tyler Johnson also emerged for 38 snaps, hauling in five catches for 79 yards, including 64 after the catch.
Relevant Projection: WR Cooper Kupp 8.0 Receptions
Broncos vs. Steelers Injury Report
Steelers QB Russell Wilson (calf) — Questionable
Wilson did not play in Week 1 and the Steelers have already said that they are preparing for Justin Fields to start again in Week 2. In last week’s matchup with the Falcons, Fields threw for 156 yards and ran for 57 more. He did not record a passing or rushing touchdown, but he was the 7th-highest graded quarterback in Week 1, according to PFF.
Relevant Projection: WR George Pickers 56.5 Receiving Yards
Chiefs vs. Bengals Injury Report
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) — Doubtful
Higgins did not play against the Patriots in Week 1 and is doubtful to face the Chiefs. WR Andrei Iosivas caught three of six targets for 26 yards against the Patriots and should be in line for added targets again. Iosivas led the Bengals in pass snaps last week with 38.
Relevant Projection: WR Ja’Marr Chase 72.5 Receiving Yards
More Chiefs vs. Bengals Injury Notes
Chiefs WR Marquese Brown (shoulder) will be placed on injured reserve with designation to return after undergoing shoulder surgery and will likely be out for more than just the minimum four games. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Brown is “months not weeks” away from a return.
Rookie WR Xavier Worthy had a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown on three targets with Brown out in Week 1. Rashee Rice and Worthy will lead this receiving room while Brown is on the mend.
Relevant Projection: WR Xavier Worthy 43.5 Receiving Yards
