Auburn Tigers
KenPom Ranking: #4
For the second time in school history, Auburn is among the last four standing. The Tigers fell short in 2019 in a one-point defeat to Virginia in the national semifinal.
Following last season’s shocking first-round loss to Yale, Bruce Pearl’s team won their first three tournament games by double-digits. Auburn trailed Michigan, 48-39 with less than 13 minutes remaining in the Sweet 16 before rallying for a 78-65 victory.
Auburn star Johni Broome suffered a right arm injury in the Elite Eight win over Michigan State, but finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Broome is expected to play on Saturday against Florida as his points and rebounds projection on PrizePicks is listed at 28.5.
In the first matchup with Florida this season, Broome posted 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 90-81 home defeat.
Auburn guard Miles Kelly scored 22 points in the Florida loss, but has been held to 18 points in the last three games combined. Kelly’s points projection on PrizePicks for Saturday’s matchup is set at 18.5.
Florida Gators
KenPom Ranking: #3
The Gators dodged a few bullets during the Big Dance. Florida rallied past two-time defending champion UConn in the second round and erased a late nine-point deficit in the Elite Eight victory over Texas Tech.
The last time the Gators played in the National Semifinals was in 2014, while they’re seeking their first title since 2007.
Guard Walter Clayton, Jr. has put together a terrific tournament, capped off by a 30-point effort against Texas Tech, leading them to a win late. Clayton has drilled more than three 3-pointers in three of four tourney games, as his 3-point projection against Auburn sits at 2.5.
Forward Thomas Haugh tied a season-high with 20 points in the Regional Finals, including four treys. Haugh has pulled down 27 rebounds in the last three games. His rebound projection for Saturday is 7.0 on PrizePicks, as he grabbed nine boards in the first matchup with Auburn.

Duke Blue Devils
KenPom Ranking: #1
Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg suffered an ankle injury during the ACC Tournament and there was initial concern how this would affect him in the NCAA Tournament. Flagg has not seen any setbacks and has helped lead the Blue Devils to their first Final Four since 2022.
In the Round of 16 against Arizona, Flagg dropped 30 points, pulled down six rebounds, and dished out seven assists — an incredible performance. That total of 43 points, rebounds, and assists was his second-highest of the season. His top output came in a 42-point effort along with six boards and seven assists in a win over Notre Dame in December.
Flagg has been a huge part of Duke’s dominance in this tournament, as the Blue Devils have played head and shoulders above their competition so far. In Saturday’s matchup with Houston, Flagg’s points, rebounds, and assist projection is listed at 31.5.
Fellow freshman Kon Knueppel scored 21 points in the Regional Finals victory over Alabama, his second consecutive game posting at more than 20 points.
Knueppel’s points and assists projection for Saturday is 16.5, as he has compiled more than 17 points and assists in eight of the last 10 games.
Houston Cougars
KenPom Ranking: #2
For the second straight season, Houston is hooking up with Duke in the NCAA Tournament. In 2024, the Cougars were ousted by the Blue Devils in the Round of 16 in a low-scoring, 54-51, duel.
Houston has won 17 consecutive games and 30 of its last 31 contests since a 4-3 start to the season.
The Cougars’ No. 1 defense clamped Tennessee in the Regional Finals, limiting the Vols to 15 first half points in a 69-50 rout. Houston has held 17 consecutive opponents to less than nine 3-pointers, while Duke has knocked down at least 10 3-pointers in four of the last five games.
Senior G L.J. Cryer’s point projection sits at 16.5 on Saturday. Cryer scored 17 points against Tennessee, but was held to less than 16 points in three of the previous four games. However, he did score 30 against Gonzaga in this tournament. In last year’s Round of 16 loss to Duke, Cryer scored 15 points and pulled down three rebounds.
