Here are the Thursday Night Football picks for the Ravens vs. Bengals game for NFL DFS and PrizePicks.

Bengals vs. Ravens: Time, How to Watch

Date: Thursday, November 7, 2024

Time: 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff

Location: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD

How to Watch: Amazon Prime Video

This rematch of the Week 5 overtime thriller should turn many heads this week. Bengals QB Joe Burrow looks to follow up a dominant win against the Raiders last week while Lamar Jackson hopes to continue his MVP-caliber season leading one of the top offenses in the league.

Burrow will most likely be without his second wide receiver Tee Higgins, who is doubtful as he's dealing with his second hamstring injury this season.

The Ravens offense looks to be fully healthy and ready to dominate, so it will be interesting to see if the Bengals will be able to keep up with such a high powered offense, especially as the Ravens defense looked sharp against the Broncos last Sunday.

Bengals RB Chase Brown 58.5 Rush Yards — Less

Bengals RB Chase Brown found his rhythm last week against the Raiders with 157 yards from scrimmage, 120 total yards on the ground off of 27 carries. With Zack Moss out for the year, no other running back got a carry, and Brown was able to dominate with a lead throughout their 41-24 victory.

Brown has only managed this rushing total twice outside of last week. One of those weeks being against the Panthers in Week 4, who rank last in the NFL with 159.3 opponent rush yards per game.

Brown may benefit again from no Moss, though the Bengals did trade for RB Khalil Herbert from the Bears this weekend. Reportedly, he will be involved on Thursday, which could lead to less carries for Brown. Before Moss went out, he never had more than 15 carries in a game this season.

I find it hard for Brown to cash this projection given that Baltimore ranks 1st in rush defense, allowing just 75.7 rush yards per game. Due to the Ravens’ explosive offense, I also believe the Bengals will be playing from behind thus causing Brown to have less rush attempts.

Ravens K Justin Tucker 8 Kicking Points — More

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker benefited a lot from this Week 5 matchup, kicking 5 extra points and2 field goals in the overtime thriller. I believe the outcome of this game will be relatively similar this week, with the Ravens having plenty of offensive success.

The Ravens offense will find the end zone several times allowing for a couple of free extra points, but there will be a drive in which Tucker must kick a 40+ yard field goal which will push his kicking points total higher than his projection.

I believe he will most likely have two field goal attempts — which he’s done in 6-of-8 games this year — which will make this projection easier to cash if he hits them.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow 299.5 Pass Yards — More (Demon)

This pick feels like as close to a lock as you can get based on the matchup. Bengals QB Joe Burrow has only hit this projection twice all season; however, there are a few factors that lead me to believe he will cash this.

To start off, Burrow threw for 392 yards off of 39 pass attempts in these teams’ Week 5 matchup. This game should play similar to how it did, and thus will lead to explosive offensive plays and a lot of passing from the Bengals, even if they are missing Higgins.

The other reasoning I have for this pick is Baltimore ranks last in defensive pass yards given up with an average of 280.9 per game. Most likely playing from behind, I look for Burrow to throw the ball nearly 35 to 40 times and cash this projection easily.

Note: Demon picks add a payout boost to your lineup on PrizePicks, as they are more difficult projections to hit.

TD Scorer Pick: Ravens RB Derrick Henry — 0.5 Rush+Rec TD (Goblin)

Another week, another chance to pick Ravens RB Derrick Henry as a touchdown scorer — one of the most popular picks on PrizePicks for Thursday Night Football.

Henry has scored a touchdown in every game this season, the only time he didn’t have a rushing touchdown was when he caught a receiving touchdown in Week 7.

With the Bengals being middle of the pack in rush defense, ranking just 18th, it's likely that Henry finds himself crossing the goal line once again this week. My only concern is that Henry only finds himself carrying the ball 20+ times just 4 out of 9 times this season

Projecting the Ravens to have a lead, I look for him to get a good amount of carries, especially on the goal line. Henry cashes this Rush+Rec TD projection with a rushing or reception touchdown.

Note: Goblin picks reduce your payout on PrizePicks, as they are easier projections to hit.

Game Prediction: Ravens 34, Bengals 24

This game will bring a lot of excitement to Thursday Night Football. Burrow will connect with Chase a couple of times for big yardage, and Lamar Jackson will eventually find Zay Flowers on a deep ball — it’s inevitable.

Ultimately, I believe the Ravens’ offense having the best QB-RB tandem in the NFL will cause too many problems and the Ravens will win as they did weeks ago. The Bengals aren’t the same team we thought they were going to be this season.

Also, if WR Tee Higgins is unable to play like expected, it just adds an extra obstacle for the Bengals to overcome, and a boost to a now-healthy Ravens secondary that also added CB Tre’Davious White at the trade deadline.

The Bengals defense will have to slow down the run game and manage to contain Jackson inside the pocket if they want to win this game. The offense will also need to capitalize off of turnovers if they can force some. The odds are stacked against them, but it should be an exciting divisional game nonetheless.
