We saw some shake ups in the College Football Playoff standings last week, with a couple of Top 5 teams going down, including Georgia and Miami. Most teams have just three regular-season games left to make a case for a Playoff spot.

In this week’s college football picks for CFB DFS, we’ll look at a few teams like Colorado, Texas, and Notre Dame that are either holding down a spot or looking to get in, putting themselves in must-win games.

We also have two Heisman Trophy hopefuls in these picks; you can find the full Heisman Watch candidates here.

If you're looking for picks on the CFB Game of the Week — Georgia vs. Tennessee — you can find them here.

Put these CFB picks in your PrizePicks Lineups for CFB DFS and enjoy the games. PrizePicks is the best way to play CFB DFS — just pick more or less on at least two player projections and lock in your lineup.

QB Picks for CFB DFS Week 12

Here are three of the top QB picks for CFB DFS picks in Week 12 on PrizePicks.

LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier 2.5 Pass TDs — More (Demon)

LSU's playoff hopes are all but gone after back-to-back losses, but the Tigers will still try to end the season strong.

LSU will take out its frustrations in Gainesville against Florida, who was just blown out by Texas. The Gators were playing better recently, which helped secure head coach Billy Napier’s job for at least one more year. Now, they are expected to get back QB DJ Lagway after his injury against Georgia.

Defensively, the Gators will be able to stop the run; the good news for LSU is they don’t rely heavily on it. LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier will control the offense with his arm, and he should have a great day against a Gator defense that’s allowed 231.4 yards per game and recently gave up five passing touchdowns to Quinn Ewers.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders 274.5 Pass Yards — More (Goblin)

The Buffaloes are proving to be one of the better offenses in the conference, averaging 37.5 points per game against Big 12 opponents, leading the conference.

The defense has also looked solid after early struggles, allowing 23.3 points per game in conference play, which ranks fourth, led by CB Travis Hunter. They’re currently second in the Big 12.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders is the consensus best quarterback in the conference, leading with a 164.3 passing efficiency, 74.3% completion rate, and 15 passing touchdowns.

This week, Colorado will host Utah, its toughest defensive test yet, as Utah leads the conference in points allowed (20.2). The Utes are also second in passing yards allowed per game (190.7) and yards per completion (6.3).

Last week should have been a big game for Sanders against Texas Tech’s weak pass defense, but he finished with just 291 passing yards, nearly 80 yards below his projection. Despite this, Colorado’s heavy passing game should help Sanders hit his yardage, though we’ll play it safe here with the Goblin.

Note: Goblin picks reduce your payout on PrizePicks, as they are easier projections to hit.

Texas QB Quinn Ewers 324.5 Pass Yards — More (Demon)

Texas sits comfortably at No. 3 in the CFB Playoff Poll. The Longhorns control their own path to the SEC title game, needing to just win the last three games to secure their place.

Texas faces Arkansas after a bye week here. In Arkansas's last matchup, it was blown out by Ole Miss, 63-31, where Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart threw for 515 yards and 6 TDs. Arkansas has struggled against the pass all year, ranking 80th in dropback EPA (0.017) and 131st in PFF coverage grade (47.3).

In this matchup, Texas QB Quinn Ewers is poised for a big game, especially after coming off a 333-yard, 5-TD performance against a Florida defense that ranks 121st in PFF coverage grade (61.2).

RB Picks for CFB DFS Week 12

Here are three of the top RB picks for CFB DFS picks in Week 12 on PrizePicks.

Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty 193.5 Rush Yards — More

Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty deserves mention in Heisman Trophy conversations, given the outstanding season he’s having.

Jeanty leads the country with 1,734 rushing yards — 406 more than second place — and was the first to reach 20 rushing TDs, now at 23. He’s had three games with 180+ yards and 2+ touchdowns, including two 200-yard games. He’s gone more than this rush yards projection in four games this year.

Although the competition isn’t as challenging as in a Power Five conference, he did face current No. 1 Oregon and ran for 192 yards and 3 TDs in that game. San Jose State ranks sixth in the Mountain West in rushing defense, allowing 151.6 yards per game, but Hawaii allowed 136.2, and Jeanty ran for 217 against them.

Jeanty should have another big day here, as he has 30+ carries in each of the last three games, and a non-Power 5 school like Boise State would be smart to leave no room to keep him out of the Heisman conversation.

Arkansas RB Ju’Quinden Jackson 56.5 Rush Yards — Less

It’s a lost season for the Razorbacks, but they did have some highlights, including an upset win over then-No. 4 Tennessee.

Fayetteville has an intense atmosphere, but top teams have won there this year, and Texas should join that list as they march into the College Football Playoff

This Texas team is strong on both sides of the ball, including a run defense ranked ninth in rush EPA (-0.105). Jackson is expected to return after missing a month with an injury, but he’ll be up against a tough defense here.

Jackson will also share carries with quarterback Taylen Green, and if Texas jumps to an early lead, the run game may be phased out. In the 34-10 loss to LSU, Jackson only had 5 carries for 26 yards, and in the loss to Texas A&M, he only had 10 carries for 37 yards. Expect him to come in under this number.

Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love 0.5 Rush+Rec TD — More (Goblin)

Notre Dame is ranked No. 8 in the playoffs. However, their schedule isn’t strong going forward, and without a conference championship game, they must stay perfect. They face Virginia, which started the season well but struggled against better competition, particularly on defense, allowing 37.6 points in their last three losses.

The Cavaliers allow 132.5 rushing yards per game, ranking 50th in the FBS, but they’ve allowed 13 rushing touchdowns. The Irish will rely on RB Jeremiyah Love and quarterback Riley Leonard to keep running the ball and wear down Virginia's defensive line.

Love has a touchdown in every game this year, and has two games with two touchdowns, despite not having more than 14 carries in any game this year.

WR Picks for CFB DFS Week 12

Here are three of the top WR picks for CFB DFS picks in Week 12 on PrizePicks.

Wisconsin WR Will Pauling 37.5 Receiving Yards — Less

It’s been a tough year for the Badgers, with their only three conference wins coming against teams under .500 in the Big Ten. Their last two games could make them bowl-eligible, but this week will be a challenge.

Oregon is one of the most complete teams in the country and deserves its No. 1 ranking. The Ducks have an explosive offense but also a defense capable of shutting down opponents. Their secondary has been outstanding, with the fourth-best PFF coverage grade (92.3) and ranking 19th in yards allowed per game (176.1).

Quarterback Braedyn Locke entered the season as a backup and has struggled to move the ball. While 37.5 yards is usually achievable for Pauling, this matchup may prevent it.

Texas WR Isaiah Bond 24.5 Yards Longest Reception – More

We already spoke about Ewers’ potential huge performance under center, and Bond will play a large part if the projections go right. The former Alabama receiver has the speed to stretch the field and did so last week with a 34-yard reception.

He’s been able to get the big play against these below-average secondaries and has four games with a 30+ yards reception.

Bond’s full game receiving yards projection is 56.5 receiving yards on PrizePicks, if you’d prefer to go with that route here.
