Dolphins vs. Rams Preview & How to Watch
Date: Monday, November 11, 2024
Time: 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff
Location: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
How to Watch: ESPN
The Dolphins head to SoFi Stadium after back-to-back losses, putting them behind in the AFC playoff race after the return of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa from concussion. After four weeks on IR, Tagovailoa returned against the Cardinals. That game saw a walk-off field goal by the Cardinals to spoil his return. Last week against the Buffalo Bills, it was deja vu for Miami as kicker Tyler Bass hit a 61-yard game-winner.
Tagovailoa has looked solid since his return, throwing for over 230 yards in both games along with 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. The Dolphins look to hope to take advantage of a Rams secondary which has been torched by many receivers so far this season.
For the Rams, they’re led by Matthew Stafford who now has his top-two pass catchers back at his disposal in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Both Kupp and Nacua have had big games since their return; Kupp had 11 catches for for 104 yards against Seattle last week, and Nacua had 7 catches for 106 yards and a touchdown the week before.
A sneaky storyline to watch is Dolphins WR Odell Beckham Jr. — who is playing about 20% of the team’s snaps — and Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey’s first game back in SoFi Stadium against the Rams after winning the Super Bowl with them in 2022.

TD Scorer Prediction: Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (Demon)
It feels crazy to say it but it is true: Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill has not scored a touchdown since Week 1 of this season. We are in Week 10, and one of the best receivers in the league is without a touchdown in nine weeks, even without Tagovailoa for a five-game stretch.
The conditions are right here for him to get in the end zone. Hill faces one of the worst secondaries in the league against outside wide receivers.
The Rams are middle of the pack against outside wide receivers thanks to shutting down Bears QB, Caleb Williams and playing the Raiders. Outside of that, they have been torched by them. Players like Jameson Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr., Justin Jefferson, Jayden Reed, and Jauan Jennings (who played both outside and in the slot) have gone for at least 78 yards against the Rams secondary with three of those players catching at least one touchdown.
Hill will benefit greatly from having his quarterback back in the fold. Hill’s splits with Tagovailoa this year are drastic.
- With Tagovailoa (3 games): 26 targets, 282 yards, 324 air yards, 26.8% target share, 81.62% weighted Opportunity Rating (wOPR), according to FTN.
- Without Tagovailoa (5 games): 28 targets, 164 yards, 358 air yards, 21.3% target share, 55.85% wOPR
This feels like the perfect matchup where “Cheetah” finally hits the end zone again even while dealing with a wrist injury. Especially as the Dolphins are likely to trail or play in a shootout, they should get Hill involved early and often, and the offense should run more smoothly as a whole.
Note: Demon picks add a payout boost to your lineup on PrizePicks, as they are more difficult projections to hit.
Tyreek Hill Projections
Here are Tyreek Hill projections for Monday Night Football on PrizePicks for NFL Week 10.
TD Scorer Prediction: Rams RB Kyren Williams(Goblin)
Last week was the first game Rams RB Kyren Williams did not find the end zone after scoring in eight straight games. Now he comes up against a Dolphins defense that has given up 12 total touchdowns to opposing running backs.
In every game this season, the Dolphins have given up at least one touchdown to opposing running backs, including Bills RB James Cook and Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (who started for Kenneth Walker III due to injury) scoring multiple times against them. This game is expected to be a shootout, and if the Rams get to the goal line, expect Williams to punch it in.
You’ll cash this projection on PrizePicks if Williams scores a rushing or receiving touchdown. This year, Williams has 8 rushing touchdowns and 2 receiving. Williams also has a Demon projection for 1.5 Rush+Rec TDs on PrizePicks, which will boost your payout; Williams has scored 2 touchdowns in 7 games over the last 19 regular season games.
Note: Goblin picks reduce your payout on PrizePicks, as they are easier projections to hit.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane 19 Fantasy Score — More
Whenever Tagovailoa is starting at quarterback, De’Von Achane has been a fantasy points machine. In the first two games of the season, Achane put up 20+ fantasy points, even after his starting quarterback left in the middle of the third quarter against the Buffalo Bills.
In the next four games with an assortment of quarterbacks, Achane got nowhere close. Now that Tagovailoa is back, Achane has once again become a fantasy score machine. One of the main focal points of Miami’s offense is to get the ball in the hands of their speedy running back and let him go to work.
Even though the Rams have been excellent against running backs in the receiving game, allowing less than 35 yards and 4 receptions per game, Achane can still get it done on the ground as well.
Picking more on fantasy score gives the flexibility of rushing, receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns to all help, as Achane’s production can come in a plethora of ways. Find out more about PrizePicks NFL Fantasy Scoring here.
De’Von Achane Projections

Rams WR Puka Nacua 8 Rec Targets — More
The Dolphins have been excellent in pass defense all year, allowing the fourth-least fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. They have been elite against both outside and slot receivers, but give up more than 60 percent of their fantasy points to outside wide receivers, where Nacua has played 72.1% of his pass play snaps this year, per PFF.
Both Kupp and Nacua have spent long spells of this season injured but are both back healthy. Nacua was ejected early last game against the Seahawks after throwing a punch. Stafford will look to get Nacua involved early and often after missing him most of the last game, similar to what the Rams dialed up on his return from injury.
A target is defined as the number of times a player has had a pass thrown his way, regardless of whether a catch was made which gives much more leeway than picking a stat type like receptions.
