What is GG After Dark for Valorant Champions?

GG After Dark is a PrizePicks promo running during the Valorant Champions 2024 playoffs, created to reward the die-hards who are up before dawn watching Valorant from Seoul.

Throughout the Valorant Champions until Grand Final on August 25, PrizePicks members will unlock night rewards by receiving Ult (or Ultimate) Gobbies. With every six Ult Gobbies notched on the Ult Counter, members will unlock a special reward — or an Ult.

Outside of community challenges for extra Ult Gobbies, you don't have to do anything to receive Ult Gobbies; just sit back and cheer for the Americas teams.

Here's how GG After Dark will work:

1. All PrizePicks Members earn Ult Gobbies with Americas teams game wins & successful community challenges
2. Six Ult Gobbies = Reward unlocks for all PrizePicks members, announced on PrizePicks GG Twitter
3. Ult Counter resets, and members start collecting Gobbies toward a new reward

What are the Night Rewards for GG After Dark?

We’ll be honest: We want to save most of the night rewards as a surprise for the fans who lock in on Valorant Champions 2024 late at night.

That said, you can expect rewards like projection discounts on PrizePicks, free lineups, and giveaways on the PrizePicksGG account every time the Ult Counter reaches 6/6. The rewards will be available to all PrizePicks members, but many will be special promos run only during Valorant Champions matches — between 10 p.m. ET and 7 a.m. ET.

Stay locked into the PrizePicksGG account so you don't miss any night rewards, which may only be in-app for a few hours (depending on the reward).

How do we earn Ult Gobbies?

All PrizePicks members will earn Ult Gobbies and move closer to earning a night reward with every game (or map) win from the three Americas teams remaining — Sentinels, G2 Esports, and Leviatán. It’s a double-elimination bracket, so these teams should have plenty of chances to pick up Ws.

There will also be additional ways for members to earn Ult Gobbies. Stay locked to the PrizePicksGG account after 10 p.m. ET for more ways to earn Ult Gobbies and rewards via community challenges.

What is an Ult?

The Ult gobbies are a nod to Valorant itself, where heroes earn the ability to use their ultimate abilities — the strongest abilities in the game — by earning points and filling up their ult bar with kills, capturing ultimate orbs, and completing in-game objectives. 

What are the Americas teams that earn Ults?

The Americas have three teams in the Valorant Champions 2024 playoffs: Sentinels, G2 Esports, and Leviatán. G2 and Leviatán will face off in the first round of the upper bracket, guaranteeing at least two more Ult Gobbies for members.
