Missouri vs. Alabama Picks & Predictions for PrizePicks CFB DFS
The SEC Game of the Week between Alabama vs. Missouri will likely see one team eliminated from College Football Playoff contention. Below, we’ll breakdown the best picks for the Missouri vs. Alabama game for CFB DFS on PrizePicks.
If Alabama suffers its third loss, then their playoff hopes are done, and we’re seeing this team struggle on both sides of the ball right now
Missouri doesn’t want to suffer a second loss, as that would make it 1-2 against ranked opponents. As of this moment, the Tigers don’t face another one for the rest of the season — that won’t sit well for an at-large bid.
We’ll give you the top picks for PrizePicks and CFB DFS for this SEC matchup between Missouri and Alabama and give you their impact on this game.

- Alabama QB Jalen Milroe 299.5 Pass+Rush Yards — More
- Alabama WR Ryan Williams 49.5 Receiving Yards — More (Goblin)
- Missouri K Blake Craig 5.5 Kicking Points — More
- Missouri RB Marcus Carroll 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs — More (Demon)
Alabama QB Jalen Milroe 299.5 Pass+Rush Yards — More
Alabama has a lot to figure out if it wants to be in the playoffs. The most important thing is getting the run game going. In non-conference play, the tandem of Milroe, Jam Miller, and Justice Haynes was dynamic, but they fell off entering SEC play. They have yet to average 3.5 yards per carry in any SEC game.
This will be tough against a Missouri run defense that ranks ninth in PFF run defense grade (90.9) and 20th in rush defense expected points added (-.074). However, the Tigers have allowed two 80+ yard rushers in three SEC games.
If Bama gets up early with Missouri QB Brady Cook and RB Nate Noel out, they’ll likely run out the clock, and Milroe can reach this number through sheer volume.
Alabama WR Ryan Williams 49.5 Receiving Yards — More (Goblin)
Opposing teams are starting to lock in on WR Ryan Williams, who hasn’t had a 100+ yard performance since Georgia.
Alabama will be very familiar with Missouri's defensive scheme. The Tigers’ current defensive coordinator is Corey Batoon, who held the same role at South Alabama from 2021-23. Alabama’s current defensive coordinator Kane Wommack was the head coach at South Alabama during that same period.
I don’t believe for a second that Wommack doesn’t know what Batoon’s plan will be. Batoon will likely have some new tricks, so we’ll play it safe with Williams here.

Missouri K Blake Craig 5.5 Kicking Points — More
No Cook, no Noel — so who will the Tigers rely on for offense? How about the kicker?
Tigers kicker Blake Craig will be crucial if Missouri wants to have a chance to keep this game close. His strong leg shortens the field, as he’s made a 50+ yard field goal in four games this season. He’s also hit multiple field goals in those same games.
Without their top offensive pieces, the Tigers will struggle to move the ball down to the red zone, but if they can get into Alabama’s side of the field, Craig has a great chance to kick for three.
Missouri RB Marcus Carroll 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs — More (Demon)
This offseason, Mizzou needed a new running back with Cody Schrader off to the NFL. They turned to the transfer portal to rebuild their backfield. Noel spent his first four years at Appalachian State, where he had one season with over 1,000 yards.
However, they were mostly a heavy passing offense, and he had three seasons with fewer than 90 carries. It could be why they have former Georgia State running back Marcus Carroll sharing the backfield.
Carroll averages 4.9 yards per carry, the same as in his last two seasons. Alabama has not been as good against the run, as its 141.3 rushing yards allowed per game is 63rd, and it has allowed eight rushing touchdowns.
New starting Missouri QB Drew Pyne has played for both Notre Dame and Arizona State, but he’s never been able to stretch the field, with a career 7.2 yards per completion.
They’ll need to be meticulous against a team with eight interceptions this season, so Carroll will play a significant role in this game, especially around the end zone.
