NBA DFS Cheat Sheet Today: Picks & Predictions for NBA Tuesday 2/4
The NBA DFS Cheat Sheet is back for NBA Tuesday to break down the top NBA DFS picks for Feb. 3, and highlight the top games to target tonight for your PrizePicks Lineups.
Tuesday’s NBA games are highlighted by an early evening showdown between the two best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics. So far these teams have split the season series one apiece and the losses by each team have come at less than full strength.
Cleveland will not be at full strength once again, missing key rotation pieces such as Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade, but will still have plenty at their disposal.
The late slate will feature the LA showdown between the Lakers and the Clippers. This will be the Lakers’ first game since Saturday night’s blockbuster trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis. Without Davis and SG Max Christie, and Luka Doncic still recovering from a calf injury, this game will have a lot less hype to it. However, bragging rights for this match will still be on the line.
PrizePicks is the easiest way to get paid for your NBA takes. Just pick more or less on player stat projections, lock in your Lineup, and win up to 1000x your money on 6-Pick Lineups if your picks are correct.

Tuesday NBA Games to Target for NBA DFS
Here are the top two games to target on the Tuesday NBA DFS slate for production and fantasy upside on PrizePicks.
Celtics vs. Cavaliers: Preview, Pick
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: TNT
When these two teams meet, fans have been treated to some of the best basketball all season. Both meetings have produced over 110 points for both teams with games that have come down to the final minute. This game features teams both in the top-10 in defense and the top-5 in offense.
The offense has been more on display in these matchups, with Cleveland shooting at or near 50 percent from the field both times and Boston once. Despite Boston being one of the more methodical teams in pace being toward the bottom of the league, they will run with the Cavs who are sixth in pace.
PrizePicks NBA Pick: Cavs PG Darius Garland 5.5 Assists — More (Goblin)
Pacers vs. Trail Blazers: Preview, Pick
Time: 10 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
This game is expected to see tons of points with both teams on the second leg of a back-to-back. Not only that, their first meeting had 235 points. Both teams are poor defensively, sitting 10th and 11th in points per game allowed and then 4th and 11th in defensive rating defensively.
Indiana is currently top-10 in pace and teams who are slower in pace, like Portland, are more likely to play up in pace rather than slow.
PrizePicks NBA Pick: Pacers PG Tyrese Haliburton 20.5 Points — More

Below, you’ll find the top NBA DFS picks today for PrizePicks for Tuesday, February 4.
Rockets G-F Amen Thompson vs. Nets: 5 Assists — More
With Fred VanVleet out, Amen Thompson has taken over as the starting point guard of the Rockets. VanVleet left the Nets game after only 16 minutes, and Thompson finished with 7 assists. Against the Knicks, he had 11 assists, and will be taking on Brooklyn in the second leg of a back-to-back.
In the one-and-a-half games without VanVleet, Thompson is averaging 9 assists and 14 potential assists. Rockets C Alperen Sengun is expected to return for the game tonight and while he will take up some of Thompson’s usage, you can expect Thompson to look to set up Sengun throughout the game.
Sixers C Joel Embiid vs. Mavericks: 8 Rebounds — More
Sixers C Joel Embiid has a great matchup if he plays against the Dallas Mavericks, as he’s currently listed as questionable with a knee injury. Anthony Davis, who just got traded to Dallas from the Lakers, will still be out with an abdomen injury, so Embiid will match up against Daniel Gafford.
The Sixers center should see 30 minutes based on previous times this season when he has returned from long injury layoffs.
On the season, the Mavericks are in the top half of the league in rebounds allowed to opposing centers. While Embiid has not played against Gafford on the Mavericks, he is averaging nearly 12 rebounds per game against him in eight lifetime matchups, and has tied or hit this projection of 8 even in games where he’s played less minutes like he is projected tonight.
With Embiid listed as questionable, there is a possibility he misses the game. If Embiid misses the game, look to Sixers backup center Andre Drummond for rebounds or guard Tyrese Maxey for points on the PrizePicks NBA board.
Blazers C Deandre Ayton vs. Pacers: 27.5 Pts+Rebs— More
Over the last 10 games, Ayton has played some of his best basketball since joining the Trail Blazers. A 25-point, 20-rebound performance capped off yet another brilliant game after averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds over his last 10 games before the win against the Suns yesterday.
While both teams are coming off of a game yesterday, he is likely to see Myles Turner. If Turner misses the game, Thomas Bryant and Obi Toppin will see extended minutes at center.
With Indiana’s fast pace of play, there will be plenty of opportunity for points and rebounds. Ayton finished with 28 points and rebounds last time out against Indiana. This season, the Pacers have struggled against opposing centers rebounding the ball, allowing the seventh most rebounds over the last seven games and over the season. Indiana also is in the top half of the league in points allowed to opposing centers so this could be another night where Ayton plays well.
Clippers C Ivica Zubac vs. Lakers: 26.5 Pts+Rebs — More
This will be the first Lakers-Clippers meeting without C Anthony Davis in some time. This season, these two rivals have met just once, and Clippers C Ivica Zubac had a 21-point, 19-rebound performance with Davis playing as the main center defending him. In that game, he also had 28 potential rebounds.
Now with Davis out of the picture due to his trade to Dallas, Zubac will be going up against Jaxson Hayes or Trey Jamison down low. Hayes is nowhere near the defender or interior presence that Davis is, and Jamison is just in his second year of the league, bouncing from the G-League to the NBA from time to time.
Zubac should be able to dominate the matchup against the Lakers tonight.
