Best Week 9 Games to Target for NFL DFS
Saints vs. Panthers — 1 p.m. ET
The divisional clash between the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints has high-scoring potential despite both teams' records. Saints QB Derek Carr will return from injury to face a Panthers defense that ranks 25th in passing yards allowed per game (239.1 yards/game) and near the bottom in passing touchdowns allowed (2.1 TDs/game) and completion percentage (71.8%).
With Carr averaging almost 200 passing yards per game, his 235.5-yard projection should be attainable against Carolina’s weak secondary.
On the other side, Panthers QB Bryce Young threw for 224 yards against a tougher Broncos secondary last week. His projection of 179.5 yards should be achievable against a Saints defense that ranks 28th in passing yards allowed per game (over 240 yards) and 27th in yards per completion (over 10 yards).
With a step down in competition and playing at home, Young is well-positioned to surpass this projection in a likely high-scoring game.
PrizePicks to Consider: Panthers QB Bryce Young more than 179. 5 Pass Yards / Saints QB Derek Carr more than 235.5 Pass Yards
Broncos vs. Ravens — 1 p.m. ET
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has surpassed his 214.5 yard passing yards projection in six out of eight games this season, averaging nearly 265 yards per game. This week, he faces a Denver defense that started strong but has struggled recently against mediocre competition.
In his last 10 home games, Jackson has exceeded 230.5 passing yards in eight of them.
Given Denver’s weak defensive line, the Broncos may stack the box to contain Jackson and RB Derrick Henry, leaving the secondary more vulnerable to Jackson’s passing attack.
The Ravens' defense has been strong against the run but weak against the pass, ranking last in passing yards allowed per game (291.4 yards) and passing touchdowns allowed per game (2.1 per game). Jackson has surpassed his 214.5-yard passing projection in four out of eight games, recently throwing for nearly 300 yards against Carolina.
Safety Marcus Williams has struggled, ranking 77th out of 86 safeties in coverage, while standout corner Marlon Humphrey (ranked third out of 108 corners in coverage) is questionable and likely out for this game. This vulnerability in the Ravens' secondary could set the stage for a productive day for Broncos QB Bo Nix.
PrizePicks to Consider: Broncos QB Bo Nix more than 215.5 Pass Yards / Ravens QB Lamar Jackson more than 214.5 Pass Yards

Best OL/DL Matchups to Target: Week 9
Big fantasy football performances start in the trenches. These are two OL/DL matchups with one-sided advantages to target this week for NFL DFS.
Falcons OL vs. Cowboys DL
The Falcons boast one of the NFL's top offensive lines, led by former first-round pick Jake Matthews, who ranks among the top 20 tackles in the league. Matthews has allowed only 16 pressures and three sacks this season. Inside, Chris Lindstrom excels as a run-blocking guard, ranking second out of 74 guards.
By contrast, the Dallas Cowboys' defensive line has struggled without DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons. In their place, Carl Lawson ranks 101st out of 160 edge defenders in pass rushing, while first-round pick Mazi Smith ranks 121st out of 121 interior linemen, making this a favorable matchup for the Falcons.
PrizePicks to Consider: Falcons RB Bijan Robinson more than 74.5 Rush Yards / Falcons QB Kirk Cousins more than 250.5 Pass Yards
Giants DL vs. Commanders OL
The New York Giants' defensive line features one of the league's top duos in Brian Burns, who ranks 10th out of 113 defensive ends, and Dexter Lawrence, second among 121 interior linemen. Emerging defensive end Azeez Ojulari has impressed, ranking in the top five for sacks with seven and totaling 19 pressures.
This presents a challenge for Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, who is still nursing a rib injury and may be limited in scrambling. Left tackle Brandon Coleman ranks 57th out of 76 tackles, while Andrew Wylie ranks 51st, allowing over 13 pressures this season, which could lead to a long day for Daniels against this formidable Giants front.
PrizePicks to Consider: Commanders QB Jayden Daniels less than 47.5 Rush Yards
Best WR/CB Matchups to Target: Week 9
Commanders WR Terry McLaurin vs. Giants CB Deonte Banks
Terry McLaurin is thriving with a true QB1, proving his WR1 status. Averaging over 14 yards per reception and a 115 passer rating when targeted, McLaurin ranks in the top five in receiving yards with 579.
This week, he faces Giants CB Deonte Banks, a disappointing first-round pick for the New York Giants. Banks, recently benched mid-game, ranks 88th out of 108 cornerbacks and has allowed a 125+ passer rating.
PrizePicks to Consider: Commanders WR Terry McLaurin more than 62.5 Receiving Yards
Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. vs. Bears CB Tyrique Stevenson
Marvin Harrison Jr. has hit his stride recently, showcasing his big-play ability with over 16 yards per reception and a 105 passer rating when targeted. Despite a slow start, he ranks in the top five in receiving touchdowns with five.
He’ll be up against Bears Tyrique Stevenson, who has had a challenging year, ranking 97th out of 108 cornerbacks and allowing over 16 yards per reception.
PrizePicks to Consider: Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. 52.5 Receiving Yards / 0.5 Rush+Rec TD (Demon)
Chargers WR Quentin Johnston vs. Browns Martin Emerson Jr.
QB Justin Herbert is enjoying an excellent season as a top-five passer, despite a lacking receiving corps. His primary target WR Quentin Johnston has delivered with over 11 yards per reception, a 125 passer rating when targeted, and three touchdowns on 14 receptions from 22 targets.
Johnston faces Martin Emerson Jr., who ranks 105th out of 108 cornerbacks in coverage, allowing a 120+ passer rating and 13 yards per reception.
PrizePicks to Consider: Quentin Johnson more than 31.5 Receiving Yards

Saints RB Alvin Kamara vs. Panthers
Alvin Kamara faces a Panthers defense that struggles against the run and the pass, ranking 30th and 31st in defense Expected Points Added respectively. Linebackers Trevin Wallace and Josey Jewell rank 78th and 53rd out of 83 linebackers in run-stopping, with Jewell having only 30 tackles on the season.
On the defensive line, Charles Harris ranks 104th out of 113 defensive ends, and former first-round pick Jadeveon Clowney has shown signs of decline, ranking 70th out of 113 ends.
Despite losing his starting quarterback, Kamara ranks in the top five in rushing touchdowns with six and averages 4.2 yards per carry, making him primed for a strong game against Carolina's defensive front. It doesn’t hurt that QB Derek Carr returns, which should help the Saints move the ball as they did earlier in the year.
PrizePicks to Consider: Alvin Kamara 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs (Goblin)
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker vs. Los Angeles Rams
Kenneth Walker has an excellent matchup this week against the Los Angeles Rams, whose run-stopping defense has been weak. The Rams' linebacking unit is led by Christian Rozeboom, who ranks 75th out of 80 linebackers in run defense, while the interior is anchored by Brandon Fiske, ranking 73rd out of 123 in run-stopping.
Additionally, edge rusher Byron Young excels as a pass rusher but struggles against the run, ranking 90th out of 107 edge defenders in this area. Since returning from injury, Walker has established himself as a top-five running back, averaging 4.2 yards per carry and scoring six rushing touchdowns (top five in the NFL), positioning him for a strong game.
PrizePicks to Consider: Kenneth Walker 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs (Goblin)
