The Wildcats took care of the Red Raiders on Friday, 86-80, to pick up consecutive wins for the first time since early February.
The Cougars went into Tucson on February 15 and knocked off the Wildcats, 62-58. Both teams struggled from long distance by combining to shoot 10-of-40 from 3-point range.
Houston owns the second-most efficient offense and the top defensive efficiency in Big 12 play.

One of the four losses for St. John’s came at the hands of Creighton on New Year’s Eve. The Bluejays grinded out a 57-56 triumph in Omaha, limiting the Red Storm to 39% shooting on 2-point attempts.
St. John’s picked up revenge in New York last month in a 79-73 victory. The Red Storm won despite missing 12 free throws and 12 3-pointers.
