AFC Divisional Round Predictions: Chiefs Win
Christian’s Prediction: Chiefs 24, Texans 13
Summary: The healthy Texans defense looked stout in the Wild Card round, but the Chiefs offense looked even better to finish the year. Texans are lacking the weapons to keep up with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid’s offense, especially off three weeks rest.
Khadir’s Prediction: Chiefs 34, Texans 14
Summary: This should be an easy game for the Chiefs off extended rest. The Texans have already lost once to the Chiefs, and this is just a mismatch in almost every aspect. Texans flaws and inconsistencies catch up to them, and we could see a blowout to open up the NFL Saturday games.

✅ Commanders vs. Lions Expert Player Picks & Game Prediction
Commanders vs. Lions Player Picks & Predictions
Here are our staff’s favorite picks for NFL DFS PrizePicks for the Commanders vs. Lions game on Saturday night in the Divisional Round.
- Commanders QB Jayden Daniels 1.5 Pass TDs — More (Demon)
- Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown 77.5 Receiving Yards — Less
- TD Scorer Prediction: Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs (Goblin)
- Lions WR Jameson Williams 55.5 Receiving Yards — More
- Lions QB Jared Goff 27.15 Pass Yards — More
Commanders vs. Lions: Notable Stats
Get more Commanders vs. Lions stats for the Divisional Round here.
- These teams are top 10 in virtually every offensive metric: points per game, yards per game, rushing yards, third-down conversion rate, score percentage.
- Commanders QB Jayden Daniels has at least 10 carries in seven games this year.
- The Commanders lead the league in no-huddle — 62.4% of Daniels’ snaps were out of no-huddle. He leads the league in pass yards, touchdowns, and first downs out of no-huddle.
- Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has only gone more than his 77.5 receiving yards projection in four games this season, despite averaging 74 yards per game.
- The Lions get back LB Alex Anzalone (who is the defensive playcaller), CB Terrion Arnold, and RB David Montgomery for this game.
AFC Divisional Round Predictions: Lions Win
Christian’s Prediction: Lions 34, Commanders 24
Summary: The Commanders weren’t all that impressive in the win over the Bucs, and looked incredibly vulnerable in pass defense — that’ll be a problem here. The Lions defense has some holes that Commanders QB Jayden Daniels can exploit, but it’s not going to be enough against an incredibly efficient Lions offense that should have its way against a fraudulent Commanders defense that is much worse than it looks on paper.
Austin’s Prediction: Lions 34, Commanders 24
Summary: Expect this game to bring a ton of explosive plays to close out the Saturday games. The Lions’ run game and hard-to-defend passing attack will be a challenge for the Commanders to stop, and the Lions should overwhelm them. Look for the Lions to control possession and out-physical this Commanders defense.
