Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Starting Lineup

Quarterback: Jalen Hurts

Running Backs: Saquon Barkley, Kenneth Gainwell

Wide Receivers: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson

Tight Ends: Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra

Offensive Line: LT Jordan Mailata, LG Landon Dickerson, C Cam Jurgens, RG Mekhi Becton, RT Lane Johnson

Eagles Offensive Players to Watch

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley

Saquon Barkley has been unstoppable, averaging 151.8 rushing yards per game over his last five outings, running for more than 114.5 yards in each one.

Barkley has averaged nearly 129 rushing yards per game across all 19 games this season. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs have allowed an average of 107 rushing yards per game — but gave up 147 yards to the Bills and 149 yards to the Texans.

With the Eagles' commitment to the run game and a strong offensive line, Barkley should have plenty of opportunities to make an impact.

QB Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts is coming off his best performance in the last five games, totaling 262 passing and rushing yards against the Washington Commanders. However, over that span, he's averaged just 202.8 total yards (pass and rush)

With the Eagles leaning heavily on Saquon Barkley, Hurts hasn't needed to put up big numbers. On the season, he's averaged 189.3 passing yards and 41.8 rushing yards per game, combining for 231.1 total yards.

Hurts is coming off his best playoff performance, but Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will aim to shut him down. The last time Spagnuolo faced a Kellen Moore-led offense was in 2021 when Moore coached the Cowboys’ top-ranked unit. In that matchup, the Chiefs' defense racked up five sacks, two interceptions, and a lost fumble.

Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Starting Lineup

The Eagles play a 3-4 base defense, meaning they have three defensive lineman, and four linebackers, with Nolan Smith often playing as the fourth pass rusher.

Defensive Line: DE Milton Williams, NT Jordan Davis, DE Jalen Carter

Linebackers: WLB Nolan Smith, ILB Zack Baun, ILB Oren Burks, SLB Josh Sweat

Cornerbacks: Quinyon Mitchell, Darius Slay Jr., Cooper DeJean

Safeties: C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Reed Blankenship

Defensive Players to Watch

OLB Nolan Smith

24-year-old Eagles LB Nolan Smith has been unstoppable down the stretch and into the Playoffs. After recording just 6.5 sacks in the regular season, Smith has stepped up with 4 sacks in three Playoff games.

With DT Jalen Carter and the dominant Eagles defensive line drawing so much attention, Smith has taken full advantage of the opportunities created. If the Chiefs offensive line doesn’t account for him, he could be in for another big game.

So far this Playoffs, Mahomes has taken five sacks in two games, so look for the Eagles to create some pressure on him in the Super Bowl.

CB Quinyon Mitchell

Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate Quinyon Mitchell has been a force in coverage, racking up 15 pass deflections across 19 games, including the Playoffs. With the Chiefs' underwhelming receiving corps, this rising star is poised to lock things down.

Whether Mahomes dares to challenge Mitchell is another story. After going without an interception in the regular season, Mitchell has stepped up in the Playoffs, snagging two interceptions in just three games. He also had at least one pass deflection in all three Playoff games, and five-straight games going back to Week 17.

If Mahomes isn’t careful, Mitchell will make him pay.

Philadelphia Eagles Special Teams Starting Lineup

Here are the key special team players for the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • Kicker: Jake Elliott
  • Punter: Braden Mann
  • Punt Returner: Cooper DeJean
  • Kick returner: Isaiah Rodgers
  • Long snapper: Rick Lovato
