Here are the top games to target for CBB DFS fantasy production today, Tuesday, February 25.

No. 3 Duke vs. Miami: Preview, Pick

Time: 7 p.m. ET
How to Watch: ESPN

The No. 2 Duke Blue Devils (24-3, 15-1) head down to South Florida to take on the last-place Miami Hurricanes (6-21, 2-14).

Outside of a tough loss at now-No. 13 Clemson a few weeks ago, Duke has cruised through a weak ACC schedule. The Blue Devils obliterated a struggling Illinois team 110-67 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, with seven players scoring in double figures.

According to KenPom’s efficiency metrics, this Duke squad currently ranks as the best in college basketball since the 1998-99 Blue Devils, a team that fell just one game short of a national championship.

Next up is Miami, a program that has collapsed just two years after a Final Four run. Longtime head coach Jim Larrañaga stepped down midseason and, per KenPom, the Hurricanes currently rank as the worst Power Five team in the nation. Their biggest struggles come on defense, and they now face a Duke offense fresh off a 110-point performance against a tournament-hopeful Illinois team.

Here are a few key stats to help you make your DFS picks for Tuesday’s ACC matchup on PrizePicks:

  • Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg leads the Blue Devils in points (19.7 PPG), rebounds (7.7), assists (4.0), steals (1.6) and blocks per game (1.2). He finished the blowout win over Illinois with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in just 23 minutes due to the lopsided score.
  • According to KenPom, Miami is the worst defensive Power 5 team (ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, Big East, and the former Pac-12) in the KenPom era (since 1997).
  • The Hurricanes rank 335th in adjusted defensive efficiency — by far the worst of any power conference team. The next closest is Cal at 184.
  • Miami’s opponents shoot 38.7% from 3-point range, the third-highest mark allowed in the nation.
  • Duke has multiple perimeter threats, including freshman Kon Knueppel, who has made two or more 3-pointers in 12 of 16 ACC games.
  • He scored 25 points and hit 6-of-8 3-point attempts in Duke’s 89-54 win over Miami last month in Durham.
  • KenPom projects this game to be high-scoring, estimating a total of 155 points between the ACC’s leader and last-place team.

CBB PrizePicks Pick: Duke G Kon Knueppel — 2.5 3-Pt Made (Demon) or 14.5 Points

No. 24 Mississippi State vs. No. 6 Alabama: Preview, Pick

Time: 9 p.m. ET
How to Watch: ESPN2

The No. 24 Mississippi State Bulldogs (19-8, 7-7) head down to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to take on the No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide (22-5, 11-3) in a Tuesday night SEC showdown.

Since opening the season 14-1, Mississippi State has come back to earth in a very competitive SEC. The Bulldogs are 5-7 in their last 12 games, but recorded a massive home win over No. 12 Texas A&M last week.

Consistent with its recent struggles, Mississippi State left Norman, Okla. with a tough loss on Saturday, dropping a close game to an Oklahoma team that had just three SEC wins and has started to fade from NCAA Tournament conversations.

No. 6 Alabama got back on track Saturday with a solid home win against No. 17 Kentucky. Star senior Mark Sears stayed hot, scoring 30 points on 47% shooting from the field.

The Crimson Tide are certainly battle-tested, having faced the hardest schedule in the country, according to KenPom.

Here are a few key stats to help you make your DFS picks for Tuesday’s SEC showdown on PrizePicks:

  • Alabama guard Mark Sears has found his shot. The senior was named SEC Co-Player of the Week following two 30-point performances last week. Sears made 8-of-19 3-pointers last week, good for 42% from deep.
  • Mississippi State’s opponents are shooting 36% from 3-point range, which ranks in the bottom 65 in the country. 37% of points scored against the Bulldogs come from beyond the arc, which ranks 24th in the nation.
  • Alabama’s high-powered offense has topped 85 points in nine of its last 10 and 13 of its last 15 games.
  • According to KenPom, the Crimson Tide also play at the fastest tempo in the country, averaging 74.7 possessions per game and just 15 seconds per offensive possession.
  • Mississippi State sophomore Josh Hubbard is one of the SEC’s top scorers, averaging nearly 18 points per game. However, the 5-foot-11 guard’s scoring drops significantly on the road, where he averages 14.1 points and shoots just 28.7% from 3-point range.
  • KenPom projects this game to be the second-highest-scoring matchup of the night, estimating a total of 169 points between the SEC rivals.

  • Wisconsin’s opponent, Washington, commits 18.5 fouls per game — the sixth-most among Power Five teams.
  • Meanwhile, 21.1% of points scored against the Huskies come from the free-throw line, which ranks 63rd in the nation.
  • Wisconsin is on pace to set an all-time NCAA record in team free-throw percentage at 83.6%.
  • Tonje has attempted the 29th-most free throws in the country this season and is converting 91% of his attempts, ranking eighth in Division I.

  • Dent has scored 18 or more points in each of New Mexico’s last five road wins but has failed to reach that mark in the team’s last two road losses.
  • KenPom gives New Mexico a 38% chance to win at San Diego State in a matchup with significant NCAA Tournament implications.

Gonzaga G Ryan Nembhard — 7.5 Assists (Goblin)

CBB DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks - Ryan Nembhard
  • Gonzaga’s Ryan Nembhard leads Division I in assists, averaging 9.7 per game.
  • On January 18, Nembard recorded a season-high 15 assists in a 103-99 loss to tonight’s opponent Santa Clara. He also scored 16 points in the high-scoring game.
  • According to KenPom, 56.8% of baskets scored against Santa Clara come off an assist, which ranks in the top 70 nationally.
  • Meanwhile, Gonzaga has assisted on 61.9% of its field goals, the 15th-highest mark in the country.
  • KenPom projects this game to be among the highest-scoring matchups of the night, with an expected total of 161 points.
