QB Picks for CFB DFS Week 10
Miami QB Cam Ward 307.5 Passing Yards — More
Miami won against its rival Florida State and has moved into the top five, with the newly-expanded playoff rankings set to be released next week. Some weeks, they’ve had to keep it interesting due to the defense’s vulnerability, which had allowed 30+ points in three of the last four games.
This made it a big move to get QB Cam Ward from the transfer portal, and he’s delivering with a potential Heisman Trophy run, ranking second in passing yards (2,746) and touchdowns (24).
Duke has struggled defensively all season, a stark contrast from last year, when Mike Elko was their head coach. Ward has hit this passing yards total in six of eight games. Last week was his worst passing game, but Miami had control very early and didn’t need Ward’s arm.
Duke’s offense should keep this game competitive and keep Ward active through the air.
Oregon QB Dillion Gabriel 2.5 Passing Touchdowns — More (Demon)
Oregon is thriving as the No. 1 team in the nation in its first year in the Big Ten. Although the Ducks had some weak spots in the early games, specifically in the run game and offensive line, they now look like a well-oiled machine.
It’s time to put Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel’s name squarely in the Heisman conversation; he’s eighth in passing yards and sixth in touchdowns.
Last year, this would have been the game of the weekend, but Michigan isn’t the same team that won the National Championship. Their lack of a passing game could end this game quickly. The defense has also regressed, not due to a lack of talent but because they’re spending more time on the field.
Last year, Michigan ranked 15th in time of possession (32:14), while this year, they’re 49th (30:39). That’s a huge difference, especially when facing a team like the Ducks. Texas QB Quinn Ewers threw three touchdowns in a top-tier offense at the Big House, and Gabriel could do the same as he continues to chase the Heisman.
South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers 168.5 Passing Yards — Less
South Carolina’s three losses have taken it out of playoff contention, but the Gamecocks are only a couple of wins away from being bowl-eligible.
South Carolina isn’t dominant in any specific area; it’s 11th in the SEC in points scored per game (28.4) and ninth in points allowed (18.7). However, in each of those losses — close games against Alabama and LSU — flipping the results could have put the Gamecocks in the SEC title race.
They could make a statement with a win against Texas A&M at home, especially given their defensive play. Looking back at the Aggies’ loss to Notre Dame, this isn’t the same team, particularly against the run. The Aggies allowed 198 rushing yards in that game, but in conference play, they’ve tightened up, allowing just 73.3 rushing yards per game.
This is a solid defense any way you look at it. Gamecocks QB LaNorris Sellers might need to rely on his legs, but that could be challenging in this matchup.

RB Picks for CFB DFS Week 10
North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton 105.5 Rushing Yards — More
North Carolina had a four-game losing streak until last week when it finally secured a convincing 41-14 win over Virginia. The Tar Heels went from the ACC's bottom tier to the basement. Now they face a struggling Florida State, whose only conference win this year is against Cal, who’s 0-4.
The Tar Heels can score, putting up 34+ points in four games this season. Part of Florida State’s regression is due to losing many players to the NFL and struggling to reload, particularly on defense, where it ranks 89th in PFF defensive grade (77.5).
The Seminoles’ run defense has been especially problematic, allowing 179.2 rushing yards per game (105th).
Even though UNC isn’t strong overall, don’t overlook North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton, who’s third in rushing yards in college football (1,006) and projected as a first-round draft pick. He’ll have a chance to make his case against a weak Seminoles defense.
Ole Miss RB Henry Parrish Jr. 63.5 Rushing Yards — Less
Ole Miss’ loss to LSU a couple of weeks ago likely knocked them out of SEC title contention, but ranked No. 19 this week and facing No. 2 Georgia next week, Ole Miss has a shot at the playoffs.
First, they must focus on their trip to Fayetteville, as Arkansas has an impressive win against No. 4 Tennessee. Arkansas does some things well, particularly in run defense. Its PFF run defense grade of 90.5 ranks 13th, and they allow 119.9 rushing yards per game (36th).
Ole Miss RB Henry Parrish Jr. is getting the volume but hasn’t done much with it. Over his last three games, he’s averaging just 3.3 yards per carry, and last week’s 2.9 yards came against Oklahoma’s third-best PFF run defense grade (93.5).
WR Picks for CFB DFS Week 10
Texas A&M WR Noah Thomas 43.5 Receiving Yards — Less
Texas A&M controls its destiny in the SEC. The Aggies have looked strong in every test, though they’ve won only one SEC game by more than one possession. South Carolina’s record doesn’t tell the full story, as it’s competed against highly-ranked opponents in every game.
This is largely due to the Gamecocks defense, which has one of the best pass rushes in the country, with their 28.0 sacks ranking third. Neither QB Connor Weigman nor QB Marcel Reed has shown the ability to stretch the field vertically, and they may have trouble with that in this matchup on the road.
Texas A&M WR Noah Thomas is averaging just five targets per game this season, and Texas A&M is exactly relying on the pass to push the ball down the field through the air. The Aggies rank 127th out of 134 FBS teams in pass play percentage at 37.16%.
Thomas has made some big catches over the past few weeks, including a 54-yard reception against LSU, though he has just six catches in the last three games. South Carolina’s PFF coverage grade of 93.4 is third in the nation, and O’Donnell Fortune is among the best in man coverage.
Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson 74.5 Receiving Yards — More (Goblin)
Arizona State started the season strong, winning its first three games and scoring 30+ points in each. Unfortunately, it has gone 2-2 since and have reached 30 points only once more.
Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson is a fun receiver to watch, with the ability to create separation and win 50/50 balls with his height and vertical. This is an opportunity for a get-right game for the Sun Devils against a weak Oklahoma State team, which is winless in the Big 12 (0-5). A major reason is their poor defense, ranked 102nd in points allowed (29.88) and 109th in passing yards allowed per game (248.9).
ASU is highly athletic and can make explosive plays on the ground, creating mismatches for Tyson. He may not need much help against this secondary, but it’ll bolster his stat line.
