QB Picks for CFB DFS Week 13
Here are three of the top QB picks for CFB DFS on Saturday, November 23, on PrizePicks.
Miami QB Cam Ward 340.5 Passing Yards — More
How will Miami respond after its first loss of the season? The Hurricanes had a whole week to reflect on that defeat, but they still have championship aspirations. They are still in the driver’s seat to win the ACC and secure a bye in the College Football Playoffs.
Miami QB Cam Ward is no longer in the driver’s seat to win the Heisman, as that fumble at the end of the game against Georgia Tech dropped him from favorite to third in the Heisman Watch. It’s not over for him if he finishes the season strong.
He’ll have a great chance against a terrible Wake Forest team, who is 129th out of 133 in passing yards allowed per game (281.9). Miami is not shy about going to the air, even when up big, so the game script won’t take Ward’s arm away.
Alabama QB Jalen Milroe 47.5 Rush Yards – Less
After Bama’s loss to Tennessee, the Rolling Tide has dominated in conference play, outscoring their opponents 76-13. It seems like the team is getting back to playing their style of football on offense and has been able to balance the pass and run game.
This has allowed Jalen Milroe to be the quarterback we’ve expected. He hasn’t needed huge passing numbers because he’s been able to run efficiently, including 185 rushing yards and four touchdowns against LSU.
Oklahoma can’t do many things well, but they can defend the run as they are 18th in rushing yards allowed per game (109.0). The only team Milroe has faced that is better against the run is Tennessee, and Milroe had 14 carries for 11 yards.
The Sooners are going to sell out to keep Bama one-dimensional because that’s the only way you can beat them. Milroe has gone less than this number in four of his last six games.
Texas QB Quinn Ewers 277.5 Pass Yards — Less
Texas controls its own destiny to earn a spot in the SEC Championship, but it will not be an easy journey. They cannot look past Kentucky this week, as the Wildcats could surprise them. Kentucky almost beat Georgia and Tennessee and defeated Ole Miss.
How did the Wildcats beat Ole Miss? By applying pressure to the offense and forcing QB Jaxson Dart into making bad throws. They put Dart on the ground four times; he’s only been sacked more than once in two other games this season.
Texas has allowed 20 sacks this season (66th), and while Texas QB Quinn Ewers can run, he’s more of a traditional pocket passer. Even if Ewers gets it out quickly, Kentucky will bottle them up as they are 46th in passing yards allowed per completion (12.7).

RB Picks for CFB DFS Week 13
Here are two of the top RB picks for CFB DFS on Saturday, November 23, on PrizePicks.
Minnesota RB Darius Taylor 52.5 Rush Yards — More
Minnesota won’t make it to the playoffs, but it could impact who does. This will be its playoff game as they host No. 4 Penn State. The Nittany Lions won’t make it to the Big Ten Championship, so another loss could end their Championship hopes.
The Golden Gophers won’t make it easy; they have won three of their last four, are 2-1 against ranked teams, and three of their four losses are by one possession.
Unlike in previous years, they have a passing game to rely on, but they still get strong support from their run game. RB Darius Taylor has had some stat-blasters with three games of over 120 rushing yards and four games where he’s rushed for over 4.5 yards per carry.
To beat Penn State, Minnesota has to keep the defense off balance like Ohio State did, so Taylor should see plenty of carries. He has at least 15 in four of his last five games. He will definitely get the ball in the red zone and has found the end zone in four straight games, so his Rush+Rec TD projection on PrizePicks is in play as well.
Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo 86.5 Rushing Yards – More
This is a massive game for Arizona State. Now that BYU has taken a loss, this gives the Sun Devils a chance to play in the Big 12 Championship; all they have to do is win out.
They are one of the most athletic teams in the conference because they have multiple players with a lot of speed and agility who can break out big plays. One of those players is RB Cam Skattebo, who is 11th in the FBS in rushing yards (1,074) and is the engine to their offense.
All he does is help move the chains, and over his last five games, he’s averaged over 6.5 yards per carry three times. BYU is average in run defense at 57th (139.2), and Skattebo went against Utah, who is better than BYU, and he went off for 158 yards.
In a must-win game, Arizona State should lean heavily on Skattebo, who has gone over this number in three of his last five games, and went for over 70 in the two he missed it in.
WR Picks for CFB DFS Week 13
Here are two of the top WR picks for CFB DFS on Saturday, November 23, on PrizePicks.
Colorado WR Travis Hunter 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs — More (Goblin)
The Buffaloes have been the most talked-about team in college football the last couple of years. Last year, they didn’t live up to the hype, but this is a different story. They are currently in the Big 12 Championship race, and they have a Heisman favorite on their team.
Hunter is coming in as the large favorite to take the award, but the race isn’t over, so he still needs to perform on the field.
If you think 4-6 Kansas will be a cakewalk, go ask Iowa State and BYU. This could turn into the shootout they had against the Cyclones in the 45-36 win.
You must believe head coach Deion Sanders will favor Hunter even more to help him secure the Heisman, as they appeared to last week on the offensive side.
Miami WR Xavier Restrepo 90.5 Receiving Yards – More
Congratulations to Miami WR Restrepo on becoming the all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards at Miami. With the lineage of great receivers that have played at Miami — Reggie Wayne, Michael Irvin, Santana Moss, and more — that’s saying something. It helps this year when you’re the favorite target of the quarterback who is leading the nation in passing yards.
This is a chance for Miami’s passing game to get right and put up massive numbers, with Wake Forest being last in the ACC in passing yards allowed per game (281.9). They are a team that will not get conservative with a big lead, so Restrepo should get targets for most of this game.
