New York Liberty F Breanna Stewart: 20.5 Points — MORE

Time: 1 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN

Liberty star forward Breanna Stewart is rounding into her best form of the season at the right time. She’s cleared this projection of 20.5 in six of her last 10 games.

In the games she missed this number in, she played fewer minutes due to blowouts or limited playing time because they had clinched the top seed.

Stewart put up 16 points in 16 minutes against the Dream on Thursday. With a regular minutes rotation on the cards, she should easily clear this projection.

Indiana Fever G Caitlin Clark: 8.5 Assists — LESS

Time: 3 p.m. ET

TV: ABC

No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark has helped take the Fever from back-to-back No. 1 picks reach the playoffs in her rookie season. The Fever will face a familiar foe in the Connecticut Sun, who they met four times this season. Three of those matchups came at the beginning of the season when the Fever played 13 games in 27 days.

The Fever went 1-3 against the Sun this season, picking up their lone win against them in August. The Sun are an elite defensive team, allowing the least points per game and the second least assists per game to opponents this season.

Despite Clark getting more comfortable in the league and increasing her production, the Sun appear to be her kryptonite. She has gotten nowhere near her projection of 8.5 assists in the four meetings against the Sun this year.

Her best performance against the Sun was five assists, including in their win in August. Their stifling defense from the likes of Alyssa Thomas to Dijonai Carrington guarding Clark forced the ball out of her hands more, as Connecticut looked to make the other Indiana players beat them.

Take the less here until Clark can prove it against the Sun.

Phoenix Mercury G Natasha Cloud: 10 Points — MORE

Time: 5 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN

If the Mercury are going to pull off the stunner against the Minnesota Lynx in the first round, they will need production from their guards. Cloud has looked better in her last two meetings against the Lynx, where she cleared this 10-point projection both times.

Minnesota will look to take away the key biggest threats of Phoenix, which includes sharpshooter Kahleah Copper, and force the likes of Diana Taurasi and Cloud to put up points to stay competitive.

Las Vegas Aces G Chelsea Gray: 5 Assists — MORE

Time: 10 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN

As the Las Vegas Aces look to three-peat, their title hopes hinge on the play of star point guard Chelsea Gray. She returned to game action against the Seattle Storm earlier this year and took until after the Olympic break to shake off the rust.

The guard played in three meetings against Seattle this year and has tied or cleared this five-assist projection in all three meetings. Throughout the last three playoff cycles, Gray has gone more than or equal to five assists in 17 of 23 games, showing that she shows up when it counts.
