WNBA Picks for DFS and PrizePicks Today
- Fever G Caitlin Clark: 2.5 3-Pointers Made — MORE (Goblin)
- Sun F Alyssa Thomas: 18 Rebs + Asts — MORE
- Mercury G Natasha Cloud: 11.5 Points — MORE
- Lynx F Napheesa Collier: 23 Points — LESS
Fever G Caitlin Clark: 2.5 3-Pointers Made — MORE (Goblin)
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: ESPN
It was not the playoff debut Clark had hoped for, shooting 4-for-17 from the field and 2-for-13 from three and picking up a black eye.
Shooting 15% from three isn’t pretty, but it’s not like she had a defender in her face for all 13 shots. Clark said in an interview that she had a few open looks that she usually makes but ended up missing on Sunday.
If the Fever want to keep this game competitive or send it to a decisive game three in Indiana, the No. 1 overall pick is going to need to make some threes.
She’s hit this projection in three of five matchups against the Sun, and now her back is against the wall in an elimination game. Clark should get there if she has the same volume of attempts as she had in Game 1.
Note: Goblin picks reduce your payout on PrizePicks, as they are easier projections to hit.
Sun F Alyssa Thomas: 18 Rebs + Asts — MORE
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
TV: ESPN
Alyssa Thomas is the engine that fuels this Connecticut Sun team. The star forward has continued to dominate this category averaging over 16 rebounds and assists per game (8.4 rebounds and 7.9 assists). Although the Sun play at the slowest tempo (last in WNBA in pace), the Fever are second in pace and like to push the ball.
With Indiana’s play style, this allows for ample opportunity to grab more rebounds and assists as there will be more possessions in the game.
In five meetings versus the Fever this season, she has not only cleared this number four times — she has soared above 18 R+A by getting 23 or more in those four games. Her lone miss came in that one loss.
Expect the Olympic gold medalist to keep Connecticut rolling with her performance.

Mercury G Natasha Cloud: 11.5 Points — MORE
Time: 9:30 p.m. ET
TV: ESPN
In my last article, I referenced how guard play would be key for the Mercury against the Lynx. That statement held up to be true, as the Mercury had the lead or were within one possession for most of the fourth quarter before the Lynx pulled away in the final few minutes.
A stunning 33-point effort by Natasha Cloud fueled a furious Mercury push for the win on Sunday just to fall short. She has hit this projection in their last three meetings as she spent earlier meetings getting adjusted to her new role in Phoenix.
Cloud does not need a huge effort like Sunday to clear this 11.5 projection, but it would be welcome for less of a sweat.
Lynx F Napheesa Collier: 23 Points — LESS
Time: 10 p.m. ET
TV: ESPN
Just like her Mercury counterpart Cloud, the Lynx’s Napheesa Collier had her own stunning performance on Sunday. She scored 38 points, spearheading Minnesota to win Game 1.
That effort, however, was the only time this season she has cleared the 23-point projection against the Mercury.
Not only should you expect some defensive adjustments to be made on Collier, but you should also expect some regression in her shooting and free throw attempts. She shot 11-for-19 from the field and a ridiculous 13-for-14 from the foul line.
In their four regular-season meetings, she averaged under three attempts from the free throw line per game against Phoenix. Anything closer to that number will see a severe reduction in scoring opportunities; that she would need to be just as efficient as she was in Game 1 to get close to 23.
