These numbers aren’t far from his season averages to lefties, where he’s given up a 10% barrel rate, 45% hard-hit percentage, and 30% flyball rate over 160 plate appearances.
Cardinals OF Brendan Donovan has been particularly effective against left-handed fastballs, which Gomber throws 30% of the time, hitting for a 44% hard-hit percentage, 7% barrel rate, and a 35% line drive rate.
This RBI projection is rather appealing due to his position in the batting order toward the bottom, allowing Donovan to have chances to knock in some runs.

This season, Chris Sale has dominated right-handed hitters with an impressive 31% strikeout rate across 592 plate appearances.
