Note that after the Wild Card Round, the lowest advancing teams will play the lowest advancing team. For example, if the No. 2, 3, and 4 seeds advance out of the AFC Wild Card Round games, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the No. 4 seed.

Additionally, the lower-seeded team will always have home-field advantage, outside of the Super Bowl, which is played on a neutral field — this year, it’s in New Orleans.

What Teams are in the NFL Playoffs Bracket 2025?

There are a total of 14 teams in the 2025 NFL Playoffs — seven in the NFC, and seven in the AFC. Each conference’s seven teams consist of four Division winners and three Wild Card winners, which are the three teams with the best records in the conference that didn’t win their division.

Ryelan’s 2025 NFL Playoffs Bracket Predictions

2025 Super Bowl Prediction: Ravens def. Lions

While the Chiefs are many people’s favorite to become the first ever team to three-peat, I don’t see them making it to the big game. I see the Bills blowing through the Broncos, and the Bills kryptonite, the Ravens, is not a test I see them getting through. The Bills don’t lose by much, but in Week 4 they suffered a 35-10 loss to the Ravens — the worst they've been blown out since 2021. The Ravens will however have to avenge their Week 1 loss to the Chiefs — one in which TE Isaiah Likely has probably thought a lot about.

On the other side of the bracket, I envision the Lions rolling to the NFC Championship, and the Vikings scraping by against the Eagles — netting us a still fresh off the mind Week 18 rematch with the Lions and Vikings, and once again the Lions will prove they found the blueprint to shut down the Vikings offensive attack.

As for the Super Bowl matchup, I could see us getting a Lions vs. Ravens clash that we unfortunately weren’t gifted with this regular season. Both teams boast great offenses, ranking in the top three for points scored per game, and both teams have respectable defenses that rank in the top ten in opponent points allowed per game. 

The Ravens will prove too much to handle for the Lions, as indicated by having the best net EPA in the league, and will be crowned Super Bowl champs.

2025 Super Bowl Prediction: Ravens def. Lions

I'm taking the Baltimore Ravens to defeat the Detroit Lions in the 2025 Super Bowl. Ultimately, the Lions' defensive injuries take their toll and they fall short in the Big Game after getting one step closer than last year. 

After a rough start to the season, the Ravens defense is finally beginning to click at the right time. The 1-2 punch of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry will ultimately prove too much for Detroit to handle with Baltimore getting their third Super Bowl and first with Lamar at quarterback.

2025 Super Bow Prediction: Ravens def. Lions

Last year the Ravens were stopped one game short of the Super Bowl by the Chiefs in the AFC Championship, but that’s not happening this time. 

This is the year QB Lamar Jackson will finally lead the Baltimore Ravens to the Super Bowl, winning his first ring since joining the league in 2018.

In the NFC, the Lions should benefit from having the bye and be able to win two games to make it to the Super Bowl against the Ravens. However, the Lions have been working overdrive for weeks and will finally sputter out against the Ravens in Super Bowl LIX, even if they get a bit healthier by then.

2025 Super Bowl Prediction: Ravens def. Eagles

Shockingly, we’ve all chosen the Ravens to make it through the Bills and Chiefs on the road in the AFC Playoffs, then win the Super Bowl. The only major difference in my bracket is the Eagles making it to the 2025 Super Bowl over the Detroit Lions.

In the NFC, I have concerns about the Lions’ defense, who will still be missing many key pieces even in the NFC Championship, including DE Aidan Hutchinson, DT Alim McNeill, LB Derrick Barnes, and likely CB Carlton Davis III. Those injuries are going to rear their ugly head when the Lions come up against a versatile offense like the Eagles. With the pressure off QB Jalen Hurts thanks to an elite defense and RB Saquon Barkley, the Eagles come out of the NFC.

In the AFC, as much as I fear the Chiefs’ new-look offense with Hollywood Brown back and Xavier Worthy playing as a gadget player in Andy Reid’s always-inventive offense, I can’t help but feel like this is the Ravens' year. QB Lamar Jackson finally has the pieces around him to get it done; first against the Steelers (again), then the Bills (on the road), and finally the Chiefs.

There were huge concerns about this Ravens defense — specifically the secondary — early in the year, but in the second half of the year, they’ve become one of the best units in the league, loaded with talent like S Kyle Hamilton and CB Marlon Humphrey.

The difference is going to be Jackson in the Super Bowl. At this point in his career, he’s played in enough big games to let the antsy-ness subside; add in Zay Flowers and RB Derrick Henry, and Jackson is going to finally get his ring this year. If not now, it may never happen.
