Magic vs. Bucks: Preview & How to Watch
Time: 7 p.m. ET
How to Watch: TNT
Orlando just snuck into the quarterfinals due to point differential. The Magic had to lose by less than 36 to the New York Knicks in their last game of the group stage. Orlando was getting blown off the court and potentially could’ve been eliminated with a catastrophic blowout, but the Knicks pulled their starters allowing the Magic to close the gap and make it through.
The Bucks on the other hand, took business in their “winner-take-all” game against the Pistons to clinch the group.
The Magic have been a great story all year. Despite losing star Paolo Banchero to a torn oblique, the team continued to reel off wins thanks to Franz Wagner. Wagner unfortunately has suffered the same fate as his star frontcourt partner, leaving Orlando down its top two scorers for the NBA Cup.
The team still has the number one defense in the league but points will be difficult to come by as it will likely be a committee approach to see who lights it up. Milwaukee’s weakest point defensively is Damian Lillard, so that should be a matchup the Magic should look to exploit if they’re going to compete tonight.
Orlando’s stingy team defense will cause problems everywhere for the Bucks. After a rough start to the season, the Bucks have climbed back to above .500. Despite that stingy defense, it’s going to be a tough ask to try and stop Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak has been playing like an MVP candidate once again this year, filling up the stat sheet, averaging 32-11-6 along with over a block per game.
Guard Khris Middleton is now back in the lineup as well, giving the Bucks some extra firepower both on the scoring and defensive front.

Mavericks vs. Thunder: Preview & How to Watch
Time: 9:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: TNT
The Mavericks were almost on the outside looking in for the NBA Cup elimination stage, but they pulled off a comeback of their own. They needed to defeat the Grizzlies last Tuesday to make it into the quarterfinals. The team clawed back a 15-point deficit in the 4th to knock out the Phoenix Suns, who were the top-placing runner-ups beforehand.
The Thunder made light work of the Jazz, clinching their group over the Suns via tiebreaker, having beaten them in group play.
This game is a stark contrast to the first quarterfinal game. Both the Thunder and the Mavericks are top-10 in points per game and in the top half of the league in pace. Given the nature of Dallas knocking out the Thunder in the playoffs last year followed by another win over Oklahoma City to start the season, expect fireworks once again.
The Thunder are also one of the best defensive teams in the league, making most matchups against them quite difficult. However, Luka Doncic will be playing in this game after missing their win earlier in the season, which will likely take solid production from PJ Washington, who went off for 27 points in that victory.

NBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks
Below, you’ll find the top PrizePicks picks today for NBA DFS on Tuesday, December 10.
Magic G Jalen Suggs vs. Bucks: 24.5 Pts+Rebs — More
With the Magic down their top two scorers, Jalen Suggs will have to shoulder more of the offensive load if he is going to keep the Magic competitive in this NBA Cup showdown. He gets the ideal matchup with Damian Lillard as his primary defender.
The Bucks are currently allowing the most points and fourth-most rebounds to opposing point guards. It’s not a large sample, but Suggs has had over 80+ touches in these games and will have a high usage rate again. His shooting without Wagner has been better than his season average.
Taking points+rebounds here allows some additional leeway instead of just points.
Jalen Suggs Projections Today
Here are more Jalen Suggs Projections for NBA DFS on PrizePicks today, Tuesday, December 10.
Mavericks F Luka Doncic vs. Thunder: 8.5 Rebounds — More
In a game that’s projected to have a high pace and high scoring, the opportunity for rebounds will be high. Oklahoma City allows the most rebounds to opposing point guards by a wide margin. Luka’s history against the Thunder bodes well, having hit double digit rebounds in eight of his last ten.
Over the last five games, the only player on the Mavericks who has had more rebounding opportunities than Luka has been center Derrick Lively, showing that he’ll be close to being one of the team’s leading rebounders. His additional minutes on the floor in comparison to his other teammates should give him ample opportunity to hit the boards in this playoff-like showdown.
Luka Doncic Projections Today

Thunder C Isaiah Hartenstein vs. Mavs: 15.5 Rebs+Asts — More
Since returning to the game action, Isaiah Hartenstein has cleared 15.5 Rebs+Asts in six of eight games already. Dallas is in the top-10 in terms of most assists allowed to opposing centers. This bodes well for Hartenstein, who is actually third on the team in potential assists since coming back on the court.
As for rebounding, it’s no question that the German is a rebounding machine, having cleared double-digit rebounds all but once so far. He is by far and away the player who will be the one cleaning up the glass.
Not only does he lead the team in rebounds since returning, but he averages nearly double the potential rebound opportunities (20.9 to 10.8) than Jalen Williams who is second in that department.
Isaiah Hartenstein Projections Today

Bucks G Damian Lillard: 7 Assists — More
The Magic are a defensive nightmare to go up against, but even if that’s the case, they can’t fully contain every facet of every position. Over their surge of victories, it finally looks like Lillard and Giannis have finally figured out how to utilize their skill sets to complement each other.
In their last 10 games, Lillard has led the team in potential assists, barely edging Giannis. Now that Middleton is back though, Dame’s potential assists has remained the same while Giannis’ has dropped.
Lillard is averaging 7.5 assists per game in this small sample, but his potential assists remain almost the same while Giannis’ has dropped; that bodes well as he looks to be more of a primary playmaker.
Damian Lillard Projections Today
Here are more Damian Lillard Projections for NBA DFS on PrizePicks today, Tuesday, December 10.
