NBA DFS Cheat Sheet Today: Picks & Projections — November 13
Last night, we saw the first night of NBA Cup matchups, with some teams coming away with surprising wins, such as the Hawks going into Boston and securing the biggest upset of the NBA season.
Many teams will play on back-to-back nights, so we may not see full lineups for these games on Wednesday, November 13.
Below, we'll look at some games to target on the NBA DFS slate, plus NBA picks, predictions, and projections for NBA Wednesday on PrizePicks. You can find today’s full NBA DFS projections on the PrizePicks app.
There are a couple of nationally televised games on ESPN, but if you’re a true NBA fan, you’ll appreciate some of the other matchups on tonight’s schedule. One of them features the Clippers and Rockets, who are each playing very well.
We also have a divisional matchup with the Suns and Kings that required overtime to settle just a few days ago. It will be the first big test for Phoenix without Kevin Durant.

NBA DFS Games to Target Today
Here are two games to target for NBA DFS fantasy production today, Wednesday, November 13.
Clippers vs. Rockets
Time: 8 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
The Clippers have been holding steady without Kawhi Leonard, who hasn’t played yet this season. The Pacific could be one of the tougher divisions in the league, with four teams currently holding a playoff spot.
The Clippers miss Leonard’s offensive abilities as they rank 16th in offensive efficiency (1.093), but their defense has held them together, ranking ninth (1.078).
The Rockets had a breakthrough season in 2023 and have continued that, now at 7-4 and sharing first place in the Southwest.
Defense was their strong suit last year, and they’ve maintained that with the fifth-best defensive efficiency rate (1.053). They have plenty of offensive players, with seven averaging double-digit points, including two off the bench.
Suns vs. Kings
Time: 10 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
This is another exciting Pacific Division matchup, with both teams holding a playoff spot.
Phoenix holds the No. 2 seed but will need to keep afloat for a while. They are 12th in points scored (114.8) with Kevin Durant, but now they’ll have to push forward without him for a few weeks. They will also likely not have Jusuf Nurkic, who is averaging nearly a double-double (9.9 points, 10.6 rebounds), as he missed Tuesday’s win against the Jazz with ankle soreness.
There’s still an excellent supporting cast led by Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, who scored a combined 55 points vs. Utah on Tuesday.
After winning the division two years ago, the Kings regressed and were eliminated in the Playoffs last season. They added DeMar DeRozan to the duo of De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, who each average 20+ points per game. The Kings allow the 11th-lowest field goal percentage (45.8%) and are a great team to watch this year.
NBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks
Below are the top picks for NBA DFS today, Wednesday, November 13, including NBA DFS projections from PrizePicks.
Pistons G Cade Cunningham vs. Bucks: 31.5 Pts+Asts — More
Who would’ve thought we’d be talking about the Detroit Pistons, who have a better record than the Milwaukee Bucks? That’s the landscape of the current NBA. The Bucks have two of the league's best offensive forces, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, but lack depth.
The Bucks struggle defensively, with a 1.135 defensive efficiency rating, ranking 23rd in the NBA. They’re specifically weak against point guards, so we’ll go more on Detroit’s best player — PG Cade Cunningham. Cunningham leads the team in points and assists, and the Bucks allow the sixth-most assists (8.8) and seventh-most points (24.8) to his position.
Cunningham has gone more than this 31.5 Points + Assists number in two of his last three games, and averaged 36 in his two games against the Bucks last year.

Clippers G James Harden vs. Rockets: 8.5 Assists — Less
We discussed this matchup between two potential playoff contenders above. Both are great on defense, making it difficult to spread the ball, as both are top three in assists allowed per game.
James Harden has had to be the all-around point guard for Los Angeles, as he’s their best offensive player. He was never previously known as a facilitator, so his 9.0 assists in the NBA ranks 4th in the NBA.
Harden returns to his old stomping grounds in Houston today, and given the Rockets' ball-handler pressure, he may struggle to dish it out.
Harden has gone less than this number in five of his last six games. In his six November games, he’s only averaged 6.8 assists per game.

Thunder G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. Pelicans: 42.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts — More
This might have been a highlight matchup at the start of the season, but the Pelicans are decimated by injuries, including CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson, who will remain out here.
The Thunder also have some injury issues, including Chet Holmgren, but there is more confidence in how well they are playing this year.
This means guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander must step up offensively against New Orleans, which ranks 29th in defensive efficiency (1.149). The Pels have given up at least 115 points in seven of their last nine games.
