NBA DFS Games to Target Today
Here are two games to target for NBA DFS today, Friday, November 15.
Hawks vs. Wizards
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
This might not be a great matchup in terms of two teams with great records, but it is a great matchup for DFS purposes. The Wizards have played at the second-fastest pace (103.45) in the league, while the Hawks have played at the fourth-fastest pace (103.33). The Wizards also have the worst defensive rating (118.9), while the Hawks have the fifth-worst defensive rating (117.5).
In terms of injuries, the Wizards have a mostly clean injury report. While Wizards F Kyle Kuzma has played the last two games after missing some time with a groin injury, he did not log more than 25 minutes in either of those games.
On the Hawks side, both Hawks G Trae Young (Achilles) and Hawks F De’Andre Hunter (personal) have been cleared to return and are expected to play.
PrizePicks Projection to Consider: Wizards G/F Bilal Coulibaly 12.5 Points — More
Thunder vs. Suns
Time: 8 p.m. ET
How to Watch: NBA League Pass
Neither the Thunder nor the Suns have struggled on defense. In fact, the Thunder have the best defensive rating (101.9) in the league. The Thunder have also played at the fifth-fastest pace (101.83).
The reason to like this game for DFS is that both teams are dealing with injuries that will result in more heavily concentrated opportunities for their top players. The Thunder have gone small with C Chet Holmgren (hip) out. Thunder G Alex Caruso (hip) also won’t play Friday, further depleting their depth chart.
On the Suns side, both Kevin Durant (calf) and Bradley Beal (calf) have been ruled out, while Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) is listed as questionable.
PrizePicks Projection to Consider: Thunder G/F Jalen Williams 6.5 Rebounds — More
NBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks
Here are four NBA DFS picks to help you build your PrizePicks NBA Lineups for today, Friday, November 15.
76ers C Joel Embiid vs. Magic: 23.5 Points — Less
76ers C Joel Embiid sat out the second game of a back-to-back set Wednesday as he continues his return from a knee injury. He only logged 26 minutes in his season debut against the Knicks on Tuesday, scoring 13 points on 2-for-11 shooting from the field. Embiid should play limited minutes again when he takes on a Magic team that has the second-best defensive rating (104.3) in the league.
It might be difficult for him to even reach 20 points in this game, let alone surpass this projection.
Joel Embiid Projections Today

Raptors G/F RJ Barrett vs. Pistons: 5.5 Rebounds — More
The Raptors have leaned heavily on G/F RJ Barrett with Raptors G Scottie Barnes (orbital) and Raptors G Immanuel Quickley (elbow) missing so much time this season. Both will be sidelined Friday against the Pistons, which means Barrett should be heavily involved once again.
Barrett has averaged 33 minutes per game, which has helped him grab at least six rebounds in five of his last six games.
RJ Barrett Projections Today
Here are more RJ Barrett Projections for NBA DFS on PrizePicks today.
Raptors G/F Gradey Dick vs. Pistons: 19.5 Points — More
Raptors G/F Gradey Dick doesn’t usually provide much in the way of rebounds or assists, but he can shoot. After shooting 36.5% from behind the arc during his rookie campaign, he has shot 37.3% this season.
With the injuries to Barnes and Quickley, Dick has a 23.6% usage rate that has helped him score at least 20 points in six of his last 10 games. For the season, he has averaged 20.1 points per game.
Gradey Dick Projections Today
Here are more Gradey Dick Projections for NBA DFS on PrizePicks today.
Spurs G Stephon Castle vs. Lakers: 10.5 Points — Less
Spurs G Stephon Castle began the season coming off the bench, but has started each of the last five games. Despite his starting role, he scored 10 points or fewer in three of those games. One of the main issues that limits his scoring upside is his lack of efficiency.
Castle is shooting 38.0% from the field, 23.1% on three-pointers, and 67.9% from the free-throw line. Overall, Castle has scored fewer than 11 points in nine of his 12 games this season.
